Dearest guardian angel of my heart
You make me happy
Even when we're apart
Whatever I do
I shall do it for us
And pray that our love
Flies high in the sky
With the holy wings of a dove
Goin' back home to her
Beautiful Father in Heaven
And bein' with God evermore...
Holy protector of my soul
You and I both know
That whatever happens to this world
Nothing can ever come
Between us and our love
And rip apart our hearts
For they beat together
As one and forever…
Royalty like you, my love,
Can never be despised
By this lonely heart of mine:
You are perfect
As perfect as can be
And you always visit me
In my dream-state
For together we will be,
Always…!

Can you please bring on the rain
So I can dance once again?
I need to see your face
To feel your holy grace...
I want your love
So just like a dove
My wings and I
Can fly higher
Than they ever have;
And I shall soar
Into the sky once more!
Can you say a prayer
For me? Just pray to God,
He’ll listen to thee;
Ask Him to guide me
And find some peace
Within my broken heart
And rid it of my sorrow
To make way
For a better tomorrow…
Just one better than today!
