A Long Winter Ends

A long winter ends
Flowers prism the sunshine
Life begins anew

Deep Love Lies Full

deep love lies full

take a deep breath
the python says
you only live once ya know
i’ll hold you softly
you will see
i’ll never ever let you go

expand your chest
fill it with pride
you know you’re always right
i’ll hug you proudly
you will see
oops i’ve squeezed too tight

now don’t get sad
puff that chest
we fit like hand in glove
you’re feeling faint
but don’t worry
cause that’s not death, it’s love

so close your eyes
breathe real deep
delusional love’s the best
your precious heart
i have because
you’re swallowed to your chest

All By Myself I Love To Drink

all by myself...

all by myself I love to drink
its the only time I get to think
though my lunch may land in the bathroom sink
all by myself I love to drink

when I sit and drink I like to write
its my one and only real delight
though the drinkin messes with my sight
when I sit and drink I like to write

I cannot write between the lines
they swirl and curl like clinging vines
thou' the ideas I have would blow folks minds
I cannot write between the lines

I wake again in a pool of drool
this passing out is just not cool
my head and the desktop are in a duel
I wake again in a pool of drool

all by myself I drank and wrote
the drool around my heads a moat
the desktop has won and so shall gloat
all by myself I drank and wrote

Life Is About Hue

Remember when it’s

In Dark Corners, Laugh

This is a found poem taken from F. Nietzsche's Parable of the Madman

 In Dark Corners, Laugh

that madman who lit
bright morning hours,
the market place, many
were standing,
 provoked?
his way like hiding?
gone...
they yelled and laughed.

the madman pierced them
he cried; killed him i, murderers do this?

But how…
wipe away horizons,
unchain this earth

are we moving?
from plunging in all directions?
up or down?
straying, an infinite nothing?
feel the breath become colder?
night continually lanterns in the morning?
hear nothing of the noise of burying?

we smell decomposition decompose.
dead remains dead.
and him.

comfort ourselves murderers,
mightiest of all bled knives: who us?
water is atonement, sacred greatness,
too great?

we ourselves become simply worthy of
a greater deed; whoever after us -
for the sake of this deed will belong to all.

silent listeners; silent and in astonishment
threw his lantern and went out.
too early is not yet.
this is still wandering; the ears of men.
require time;
the light requires time; deeds still require to be seen and heard.
more distant than most stars and yet themselves related
on the same day forced several up,
led out is said to have nothing
after all,
now the tombs?

The Shadows

the shadows

these rooms echo loudly
then suck the air
from me

you stand there in my wonder
wander within
without sound

and I fall to my knees

the mirror mocks me
with my own stupidity
laughing sadly
sadly

holding on contorts
and stretches

...disbelief

Sometimes

sometimes

there's a whole other side of life
shiver in the darkness of the moon
holding the grey clouds close
             ...to make it rain

there's two sides to life
the bright sunshine when eclipsed
from our seeded ground
            ...passive sadness

there's a balance to life
sunshine and rain are not opposed
they grow rainbows
            ...and life
