A Poet With a Priceless Pen

I am poet with a priceless pen
born to burnish the beauty of men.
I wonder what mortal mirrors reflect...
For me, all races deserve respect.

I often hear the splashing of rain,
and flood rushing down the drain.
I see the petals of the morning bloom
and dawn peeping into my dusky room.

I strive to forget the tales of ages long gone
when dreams died as deeds undone.
I am a poet with a priceless pen
born to burnish the beauty of men.

I pretend to be a terrific tree
sapping the tears that betide me.
I feel old scars opening each time
my heart tends to commit new crime.

I touch the heart of the gentle moon
and worry if the Sun will shine at noon.
I cry for the youth and aged in need
and for gluttons in the grave of greed.

I hear the whispers of wealth and wisdom
flowing freely from the field of freedom...
I am a poet with a priceless pen
born to burnish the beauty of men.

I understand the chains of our choices;
frailties of our fate; our darn differences.
I say let us not preen on what is not ours,
we will leave them in the six-feat towers.

I crave a world without woes and worries;
the mortal mall of matchless memories
where everyone trades a lasting legacy...
and love is shared on the platter of mercy.

I long to see gray skies turn blue
and my sweetest dreams come true.
I am a poet with a priceless pen
born to burnish the beauty of men.

My Heart Melted Like Butter

My broken heart melted like butter
when the heat of your love hit me.
My soal soared out of the gory gutter
where my ex pretender plunged me.

Lead me to the pinacle of your heart
where life and love beam sweet rays...
Rid me of the pains that tore me apart,
and let your desires drench my days.

I used to love for the wrong reasons;
lured by fair faces and fluffy figures...
I was taught bittersweet lessons...
till you offered me timeless treasures.

My broken heart melted like butter...
when your sun crept into my room...
You saved me from a cruel clutter
and gave me glow for my gloom.

Come To Harvest Home

Come oh come to harvest home you thankful!
Rouse your tongues for your barns, so big and bountiful;
All grains and gains are safely gathered in with ease.
For your plenteous portion, oh praise the Prince of peace.

Come you thankful who dwells in God’s own field.
Worship Him whose wealth and wisdom we wield;
In tears and sorrow, wheat and tares are together sown,
But in harvest’s hour, in joy, we reap wholesome wheat alone.

To You, I God of harvest, we thankful will come!
With harps and hymns to Your holy harvest home;
Singing with Your holy angels on the street of gold,
Gladly bowing down to You, the Shepherd of the fold.

This Is Why I Woo Words

This is why I play philosophy
 on the field that lures lore,
 to gain the literati’s lovely trophy
 and the golden grains of life to explore.

This is why I fraternize fair play
 on the pitch where wisdom wonders,
 to dichotomize shadows and sunray
 and to preach ours’ to plough and not to plunder.

This is why I write white
 on the surface that’s clean and clear
 to rid the world of nasty knight
 and to harmonize monks and men each year.

This is why I woo words
 to have rhymes as my errand boy
and lyrics as the golden cords
around the poetry pen I will always employ.

To me you are one in a million...

friendly and free... ful of fun,
charming, cheerful and... Shining like the sun.

Knowing you has been an excelent, extra-ordinary

incense.
Passionate, purposeful & plain, got no pretence. You
are an epitome of exquisite and eternal excellence.

A priceless poetess with lively and lovely lyrics, so

She wields creative condiments in this poetry pot of
soup... and super spice,
with terrific thrust, theme and tones to make us think
twice.
Happy Birthday to a dazzling dame, whose poetic
prowess can't be plagiarized.

Dedicated to Charmaine Chirop on her birthday, every
May 1st is her day. Wishing you all the best sis!

Praising the Prince of Peace

The skies sing sweet songs
The soil spread into the seas
The seas swing slowly, swiftly
…Praising the Prince of peace

The flowers fall flat and fly
The sparrows sing solemn solos
The sea animals swim in splendor
…Praising the prince of peace

The sun and stars… speaks
The air and atmosphere in alliance
Wheat and water worships at will
...Praising the prince of peace

Tall and tender trees tremble
Winds and wings… wonder
Woods and waves… whisper
…Praising the prince of peace

Beings with blood and breathe
Spirits with soul and sights
Learn of this little, lovely lilies
…praising the prince of peace

My Poetry Gal Pal, My Best Buddy

My best buddy, a blessed, blue butterfly
Cute, cool and colorful… kind and creative
She’s got wild words with wings to fly
She’s a darling dame, I’m highly emotive.

She is married to Steve… no trespass
I only cherish her happy heart and arms.
She loves to share and care, her kind compass
I’m cocooned in the crest of her cheers and charms.

Tirzah, a terrific talent … too tough… to tame
She’s a witty and wealthy poet… no shame
She wields wholesome words… her great game
She is flying higher, so funny and fiery… her fame.

Horsemanship, her hobby… her pleasant passion
She’s got a mighty mare, ready for the English riding
Right up in her alley, the mare is earning pride and passion,
She’s great and gorgeous; worthy of western… winning.

I Need a Poetess

I need a poetess with passionate pens
To write me real and romantic rhymes
I need a sweet, super souper;
To write lovely lyrics
And make my heart happy
Every day and night
We’ll be lively;
Please will you
Be the

Misconceptions of My Color

words of woes warring on the platter of mire
painted on my colour by mouth that burns with unjust fire
injustice, neocolonialism and inequality soaked in lies
