Once Upon a Time

Once upon a time
I believed in me
I believed in you
And everything that’s good.
I believed in love
I believed in stars
and everything that shines
once upon a time
I had many dreams
I had my hope
and everything was fine
I dreamed of a home
with you and me
and our curly kids
now everything is gone
I am out of hope and dreams
I am living but am dead
My life is  hollow
and my smiles shallow
we could have had it all
but Its all gone….sadly ever after!!

Please don't beg, am not taking away your man
I won't take him away just because I can
Why will I when am in love with someone else.
I know the feeling that you feel
I was there too, and I still am.
The only man I loved has gone away
And you see, am still waiting for him.
With my honey dew eyes and way with words
I still could not keep the man I love
DOLLY, DOLLY, DOLLY, DOLLY
 Please stop crying, he is not worth it.
What am I to do, if he calls my name in his sleep?
I want none of him or anyone else.
Can't you see the pain in my eyes too?
If I don't cry, does not mean I don't.
Your happiness does not depend on me
Nor with him if he does not care.
Don't be a fool, listen to me Dolly
I don't care a bit about him

TSANG
The land I haven't seen
The water I haven't drunk
The ground I haven't walked
The dust I haven't touched
The wind I haven't felt
Yet, is alive, merged
with my existence
for it’s the land
my father have tilled
upon those hills
our yaks have grazed
it's in those rivers
my father swam
It’s in that wind
my grandpa's chants floats
and it’s the land
my father longed to be
and where my ancestors rest
and so shall mine
and my children to come

MY MAN MIGHT NOT LOOK LIKE CLOONEY
OR BE FAMOUS LIKE ROONEY
BUT HE WILL MAKE ME SWOON
AND IN DARK BE MY MOON

HE MIGHT NOT SING LIKE MAYER
AND LIKE HIM, WON'T BE A PLAYER
BUT HE WILL SURELY BE BRAVER

Let Go

I bit into his flesh
until I could taste the blood
It was dark and I could not see his tears
but I could hear  his wail echoing
while pine trees stood as witness
with every punch that I threw on his beautiful face
the chains in my heart began to crumble
and I realized, I am free at last.
But I kicked a while more
and pulled out a few hair more from his head
hoping, praying, that he would leave
but he continued, hugging on to me
like  I used to, when I was a child, to my creators
and I was free at last, to let go
to break these walls I have created
 and believe, that I could be worthy of love
that I am not an alien, but a human
that I have tears and I could feel
and I learned to let go.
but I said" you leave now, and you are safe"
"you leave later, and I will chop you down"
and he whimpered " Please let me stay"
