Let Go

I bit into his flesh until I could taste the blood It was dark and I could not see his tears but I could hear his wail echoing while pine trees stood as witness with every punch that I threw on his beautiful face the chains in my heart began to crumble and I realized, I am free at last. But I kicked a while more and pulled out a few hair more from his head hoping, praying, that he would leave but he continued, hugging on to me like I used to, when I was a child, to my creators and I was free at last, to let go to break these walls I have created and believe, that I could be worthy of love that I am not an alien, but a human that I have tears and I could feel and I learned to let go. but I said" you leave now, and you are safe" "you leave later, and I will chop you down" and he whimpered " Please let me stay"
