My Link To the Family Tree Dad

Daddy dear i miss you our goodbyes 
are far too often,
i miss you like tomorrows gone and 
yesterdays forgotten.


You put things into perspective all 
your wisdoms now are mine,
your the smartest man i know and 
your presence one of a kind.


I look up to you for guidence your 
free spirit gives me strength,
my love for you is forever and will 
never be past tense.


I look forward to your visits your 
company is irraplaceable,
your funny witt and humour always 
brings laughs to the table.


You have a heart of gold your one of 
them people others love,
and to have you as my father i am 
blessed from far above.


your just too cool for words and your 
hugs are the ultimate embrace,
and the love i feel between us no one 
can ever replace.


it really is so true the apple never 
falls far from the tree,
im the female version of you and 
thats not too hard to see.


so thankyou dad for life the ultimate 
gift to me,
your my friend my kin my teacher

Yous From the Mes

You can't have a storm without the 
rain,
You won't experience love without 
the pain.
You'll never run if you weren't taught 
to walk,
You will never listen if you don't learn 
how to talk.
Through the eyes of yourself life's 
lessons you'll learn,
If you soak up the knowledge you'll 
know which way to turn.
If you take a wrong turn you can 
choose to turn back,
If you keep on going your 
responsible for the slack.
The instruction book for life is 
written by you,
When you take direction and do what 
you do.
Noone can tell you how to travel your 
road,
But you can learn from their 
wisdoms to lighten the load.
your mistakes will be published in 
the troubleshooting page,
You can refer back to them for the 
rest of your days.
If you choose to ignore them and 
pretend they're not written,
Then expect to go backwards once 
again and be bitten.
If your smart you will learn from 
another ones sorrows,
Not mimicking their moves will 
benefit your tomorrows.
Take a leaf from their book but dont 
take the whole tree,
Because the branches separate the 
you's from the me's.

Your Me

Your stronger than you've ever been 
the road behind you's rough,
The hurt and struggle that's paved 
the way is nothing less than tough.

You pulled through every hail storm 
and you cried in desert heat,
But when you reached the journey's 
end you stood proud upon your feet.

You looked ahead and realised that 
the path did not yet end,
But there was a new beginning that 
hid behind a bend.

And now a chance to walk again on a 
path that has no tether, 
But a path that will be travelled but 
this time you control the weather.

So look behind what lies ahead and 
take those lessons into mind,
Be the person  you know you are and 
do it right this time.

I say this cause i love you and i know 
who u want to be,
I know you can do anything you 
dream I know this cause your ME!
