You Make Me Happy

You make me happy because you 
are you 
Everything you say and everything 
you do,
I feel that you are so real 
It’s a good feeling that I was longing 
to feel
With you I’m all smiles
To see you I would walk miles and 
miles
Seems though you went through so 
much in your life 
Now it’s time to settle down and do 
what’s right
You’re very outgoing and easy to talk 
to
You are so cool you are my boo
When I’m with you it seems as if 
nothing else matter
We always have good times with all 
the talking and laughter
In some ways we are opposite of one 
another
But we seem to attract just like no 
other
The feelings I have for you I cannot 
hide 
You make me so happy with full of 
joy inside
As time pass on our love will get 
stronger and stronger
Hopefully the time will slow down 
making each day longer and longer

Still In Love

Please relieve the pressure off of me
I’m in so much pain can’t you see
The day you left me I was down and out
Can you please explain what this all about
I want you to love me like you use to
Doing all the things that we use to do
All day long I reminisce about the past
Praying and hoping to make it last
I miss you more every single day
Wishing to be back with you and hoping you will stay
Hug me, hold me, and kiss me again
Stay with me forever until the end
Let’s try this, please try this once again

Raggedy Cars

Have you ever bought a used car and thought it was good
You didn’t even check the motor or under the hood
You drive it out the lot and it drives smooth
And then the very next day something just aint cool
You hear some funny sounds and you see a little smoke
And then the car stops after you hear a big choke
There your car is, it just now stopped
Every car pass you and even the cops
Now you’re sitting there chilling with the hazard lights on
And then you see a thug come right along
He give you a ride hoping you’ll make it safe
Praying to God that you don’t have to escape
Soon as you get home you call a mechanic and tell him what’s wrong
And then he say “I’m sorry to tell you but your motor is gone.”

Choosey Lover

My mind is telling me one thing
My heart is telling me another
How could I choose my significant 
other

Could it be her/him meaning to pass 
my way
Or could it be someone just crossing 
my pathway

Is this an illusion 
Seems like a perfect match
Is this too good to be true
With no strings attached

Don’t know whether to get things 
started 
Or stop it at the moment now
But my heart it telling me different
I’m so confused wondering how

Don’t want to feel hurt
Don’t want to feel any pain
Don’t want my other to feel the same

Don’t really want to leave
Don’t know if i should go
But maybe there’s much more out 
there
To help me grow
 
But if I leave
I wonder how it may be
Please someone tell me 
Is it worth risking my future to see

I want to do the right thing
It feels so right to me 
But when I think about the other
Why do I feel so guilty

Is she/he really my chosen one
Or is this just a test
Why is it so hard
Sometimes I just cant seem to rest

Why when we make eye contact
It seems like something is there
We think about the same things
And don’t mean to stare

How can I make everything right
For whomever I may choose
Don’t want any hard feeling 
From the one I may loose.

Different Seasons

Sometimes things just won’t go your 
way,
But take out time to thank God for 
another day
God gives his people different 
seasons,
Whoever thought this would happen 
for whatever the reason
God didn’t promise that things would 
stay the same,
Your season is up and now it’s time 
for a new change
Don’t look at the present or the past,
You will only hurt because of 
whatever happened last
Look to the future and see what it 
may bring,
Put God first and you’ll get the very 
best thing
Whatever you’re going through may 
seem like a curse,
Remember someone else is in your 
shoes and even worse
All you have to do is hold on and 
pray,
Now watch God work and take all the 
pain away.

Thank you….

Thank you for all the memories that you left us to cherish.

I remember when you were first born
I named you Daijon, I called you my DaDa,
You were the only one,
I thank Father God for lending my sister you, 
A very special son

I was proud to be your auntie
As you grew up I took you places & I enjoyed your presence,
I loved watching you dance and rap
Without never taking 1 lesson

Thank you for all the laughter & funny memories 
you left us to remember,
We will keep your spirit alive
Celebrating you every 20th of November

I thank God for creating you
And for being the 1st & last in your life,
Thank you Father God for his salvation 
& sending your Son Jesus Christ

Its many times, things will happen
& we just won’t understand,
But always remember the Master of the universe
Always has the perfect plan

Thank you, God, for honoring our prayers
& pleading your blood over our seed,
Thank you Lord for being there
Every step of the way & providing his every need

When God wakes you up each day
He has the perfect plan from day to 
day
Stay encouraged
When you seem all alone
When you feel weak his strength will 
make you strong
Stay encouraged 
When it seems as if no one care
He’s your father God and he will 
always be there

Through your sadness and your 
tears
Remember God is the only one to 
trust
