Love

Stare into my eyes and make me lose my train of thought.
Kiss my lips good night with all the passion that you've got.

Watch Them Glow

Stars in the sky
So many of them
Wonder why I
Feel so lonely then

Sad In California

Sitting here on lovely sand
Feeling like I'm drowning
Staring off into the blue

To my left is the pale moon
suffocating in the blue
of the sky

To my right the surfer rests
Towel draped around his
pelvis
He's old and ugly

Sitting here and thinking how
I'd rather be at the hotel
Let it be known that, yes,
It is possible to be sad
In California

It's Not Worth the Risk

Sometimes, when the day is dull,
I want nothing to do with you.
And some nights, when my heart is full
of pain,
I want nothing to do with you.
Just like the wind,
I want to exist unseen—
it’s not worth the risk.
People can be
so full of themselves
but I want to be
empty
of myself.
It’s not worth the risk, it’s not worth the risk -
Nothing is.
Nothing
is.
