One Line At a Time

Crying tears that won't come.
Looking for words that weren't said
Seeing you in love with her
Losing sight of myself
Waiting for impossible dreams
Reaching for impractical hopes
Learning lessons from my scene
Running all around in my head
Spinning the thoughts on a whim
Seeing the lies in your eyes
Clearing the minds for both of us
Setting to ease the confusion between
Letting you go a piece at a time
Regaining my heart as time goes on
Willing you out of my life for good
Saying it will all be ok

Ask Me

Ask me how long I'll love you...
I'll say forever and a day.
Ask me how long I'll care for you...
I'll say until the sun doesn't shine.
Ask me how long I'll wait...
I'll say until I'm old and grey.
Look into my eyes and ask yourself...
"Do I feel the same?"
Ask yourself:
"If she weren't there, would I miss her?"
"Would it feel like holding heaven to hold her?"
"Would my world fall about without her love?"
Ask yourself this and know that my answer is yes.
You are my better half, my friend, my love.
I would be nothing without you.
I will love you until the stars fall out of the sky.

Love For You

Empty eyes,
Hollow inside.
Looking at you,
Seeing only me.
Fill my heart,
Full of love.
Love for you,
Or love for none.
Life without you,
Brings sorrow and grief.
Eternity with you,
Brings joy and love.
Stop the tears,
Erase the pain.
Make my eyes,
Full of glee.
Make my heart,
Full of you.

Elemental Love

On the wings of a dove,
Let my love fly.
As gentle as the wind,
Let my love feel.
As loud as thunder,
Let my love roar.
As bright as lightening,
Let my love shine.

As refreshing as the rain,
I feel it in my heart.
As cleansing as water,
I feel it in the depths of my soul.
As clear as the sky,
I see it radiate from your eyes.
As hot as the sun,
I feel the heat from your skin.

Our love is like the elements
It's everywhere we go.
As I am yours,
You are mine.
Together, in love, we'll go through space and time.

Senses Full of You

Look into my eyes,
What do you see?
Visions of you,
Being with me.
Listen to my heart,
What do you hear?
Sounds of laughter,
From you and me.
Touch my skin,
What do you feel?
The warmth,
You bring to me.
Breath in the air,
What do you smell?
The scent of us,
After a night of love.
Kiss my lips,
What do you taste?
The sweetness,
Only your kiss can create.
You fill my senses,
And leave me weak.
You fill my life,
And make me complete.
Thinking of you,
Is the sweetest dream.
Being with you,
Is the most heavenly of all things.

Pieces

It's hard to piece together a broken heart.
The pieces never fit back together right.
The wounds never heal and the cracks never fill.
The soul stay empty and the mind stays blank.
The shattered heart is not easily mended.
And it never completely recovers.
Days, months, or a lifetime..
A crack remains for each broken promise, for every lie.
The scars of a love not to be forgotten.

Always Dream

Laying in bed
But I can't sleep
For the thoughts won't leave my mind
Thoughts of spending my life with you
The thoughts bring tears because I realize I'm not in your arms.

Standing in the shower
Trying to hide the tears
Hoping to wash away the pain
The water on my face won't chase away the thoughts
So I sit, my face buried in my knees, the steam rising around me, and cry.

No matter where I'm at
No matter who I'm with
My thoughts are always on you.
Every part of me longing to be with every part of you
So until I feel your arms gripped so tight around me,
I'll always dream of being with you.

Pain and Sorrow

The tears fall, a sign of weakness.
A sigh of pain and sorrow.
I can't take it anymore.
Pull the razor and feel the flesh rip.
The blood represents the pain leaving the body.
I'm left feeling relieved.
The wound will heal, the pain will return.
And I feel I have to repeat it all again.
Scarred and torn I wonder when will it stop?
Only when my heart stops beating.
So I open the flesh, one last time, and release all the pain, stop all the tears.

Stop These Tears

Stop these tears,
Erase this pain.
The only things that remains,
Is being with you through the years.
Cheek to cheek,
And soul to soul,
We'll make it through this life.
Being in your arms,
Looking in your eyes,
Are the only things,
To stop these tears,
And erase this pain.
