I Pray For My Country

I know nothing is perfect
I know everyday is not always a happy day
I know we've gone too far
Letting ourselves drowned into despair

We used to care less
thinking the world is just a living place
Some of us have gone too far
letting themselves digging golds, rapping the earth

these days the earth showed its anger
I feel scared, I feel sad,how can this happened
even though i'm save here but what about others
I see tears, terrified faces just thousands of miles away

children cried thinking that this is the end of the world
Mothers cried, some of their children swept away by the ocean wave
Fathers cried, the house that they build are thorned apart by the mountain eruption
I cried, It could have been us...

now all i can do is pray for my country
i pray things will turn okay, we all can moving on
I pray we can change our lives how to live in peace
keep the faith, don't give up hope
I'm here with you with my prayers for you

Love About Me

people think i'm peculiar
to have think outside the box
to have act not like anyone else
to have a though heart

but they just don't know who i am
for i have a sensitive heart
i cried easily and fragile
but everybody has a flaw

sometimes I cried when I can decide things
sometimes I lost and don't know where to go
can find a life goal up until now
and again, everybody has a flaw

I like happiness
laughing with everybody
sharing stories and telling jokes
making this world a stage of comedy

i filled my life with dreams and hopes
looking for ways to brighten people's life
keeping faith though sometimes faded
but it is the only thing keeping me from crumbling

i like the philosophy about love
seeing peaceful energy that emerges
someday i wished i could be among them
who fight in the name of love

a visionary
a dreamer
an artist
a coward
a clown
a lover
a fighter
what i love about me.

The Way You Love Me

Never thought it would be easy
I can’t hide this feeling inside
Well, finally love has chose me
This time it’s all about me

I got lost in your beauty
Never could pretend this feeling
Coz’ it’s all make sense to me
Can’t get this love off of me
And all I can say….

I like the way you love me
How you share your world with me
Need no tears to wash away my fears
Just as long as you are here

I like the way you love me
The way you build the world around me
Need no tears to was h away my fears
Just as long you are near

Never thought it would be me
No, it’s even hard to believe
Well, finally love has came to me
This time it’s about you and me

It feels like heaven
This heart is yours for taken
Coz’ it’s all make sense to me
Can’t get this love off of me
And all I can say….

I like the way you love me
How you share your world with me
Need no tears to wash away my fears
Just as long as you are here

I like the way you love me
The way you build the world around me
Need no tears to was h away my fears
Just as long you are near

Heart For a Heart

When you say a little pray at night
Wishing for all the best you could get in life
Somehow your imagination summons you
Have you ever been in love but it’s neglecting you

When you feel that everything is perfect
No pain, no tears, no fight but love
As time goes by and the truth comes into sight
The person you love turned to love someone else

Heart for a heart just as soul for a soul
There’s nothing pure than the love itself
But can a heart show you which one is true
Love that never fades and never brakes

Is there a heart for a heart?

A couple of doves flying around in the sky
Guiding his mate to find a better place to stay
But will somebody find a perfect person to love
When heart sometimes fooling around with your mind

It’s written in the air if you could see it through
That there’s somebody for every one of us
The energy to build intimacy is placed in each heart
But there’s also energy to break a pure love

Nowadays people are faking with their feeling
And love is just a game for all the love players
Be fond of teasing a little bit but hurt a lot of more
Will there be a heart for a heart?

My Earth, My Home

When every soul is getting older
And the trees are no longer green
When the wind is getting warmer
Not as cool as it has been
Is this earth changing?

I love planet earth like a home
I dreamt of it comfortable so we can live safely and happy
Maybe all we need to do is to set our minds
For what God has been given to us
Wrapped by this enormous roof called the blue sky
And instead of getting scared in the dark
God presented us with millions of crystal bulbs called the stars

The trees are our blankets
They absorbed each raindrop to keep us away from being cold
Protected us from the sun to keep us warm
Providing us with food and beauty
What made you doubt?
That all things are blessed from heaven and yet we desert it

Sometimes I think that the old ways kept us on the right path
But the politic of currency has made us greed
It’s always about staying alive
Surviving ourselves from this malicious world
We all being brain washed by the wrong education
And being raised by the misled tradition

What I used to know an old myth was told to me
They said that our old ancestors used to respect the nature
For what it has been given to all the living things
Having a spiritual communication with the sound of the wind
No one wonders it could keep the balance of the earth
It’s still a long way to live in this earth so keep the balance

What made us changed?
What made us turned into some uncontrollable beings?
Many days we never notice that the earth is changing
We are too busy to build our own kingdom
While in afar, way from the place you are living
Some places have changed, some trees have gone, and some ices have melted
Why the winter is late this season?
Why the sun shines too bright, it hurts when it touches our skins?

If in my place, I feel so hot and dry
Imagine the children who are living in other part of the world
Living in hunger and in pain
Where maybe five years ago the country is burning by the sun
Imagine it now, how heat is the place

We’ve ruin the balance
In the old days, cutting trees is like cutting a soul
So our ancestors realized that there are boundaries
It’s the balance we have to keep
Because this earth is our home
And for the next generations, this earth is their home too.

look at the color of the green on the trees;
look how it move and dancing following the wind
feel how this hair of the earth comfort us from heat
and keep them within us, forever.
because this earth is our home, let it always be

Sneaker Heroes

I know what you’re doing
Standing still but your foot is tapping
I can hear a melody
Playing inside your head and you wished to set it free

The days are getting crazy
The city beats and you wished to be out of here
It doesn’t matter what they say
This is your life, so go on make your way

Dance, all the sneaker heroes
Move your head, move your body to your toes
Make everything gone wild
Dance, all the sneaker heroes
You are born to dance and let it be
Make this world a melody

Just leave everything behind
I know this is what you want
Move your feet to the beat
Filled all the city street

When the world’s gone wild
And the people gone weird
It doesn’t matter what they say
That this is our life, so let’s make our way

Dance, all the sneaker heroes
Move your head, move your body to your toes
Make everything gone wild
Dance, all the sneaker heroes
You are born to dance and let it be
Make this world a melody

Deep-Dark-Hollowed Heart

I stand
I wait
I worried
for the things that may not happened

I hope
I pray
I cried
longing for a peaceful heart

All I wanted is...
when i close my eyes I won't feel afraid
and when I open my eyes, a smile will appear
coz today i breathe again

in a deep-dark-hollowed heart
like living as a sinner
like walking around in a forest finding a way out
God, released me from this feeling...

Nobody wants to feel alone
like a stranger in a crowded place
take me to a home where love can hold me
to a nice sleep when the night comes

I am lost so find me
I cry so hug me
I am lonely so love me...

The Pattern of Possibility

What is inside your heart right at the moment?
Are you lonely or excited? Are you needed a hug?
Friends are all over you; giving you unlimited pleasure and amusement
But have you find someone that comforts you? A real friend

I wonder how this movie script ending
That every life is a movie and you are in it
Life is a free will. Choices are everywhere
But what is left? What makes you so sure?
Is the life that you chose is the one you’re supposed to choose?

Others say that dreams are delusional
And hope is only to give people a hollow motivation
But people who hold their dreams are the ones that stable
They may fall but hopes keep them to hang on for another day

You can hold on to your dream but don’t let it be your master
Will it coming true? It’s only a possibility
But through it, you will gain sureness
That you will walk in the line you’re supposed to walk

You have waited more than you ever think of
Never counted how many wines you have drank
How many nights with cries and screams you have spend?
Even how many praying you have uttered

Anything that happens in this world is possibility
And time will answer all questions
You may not reach an apple on the highest tree without a ladder
It’s impossible but there is no reason that maybe you can reach it so easily

Maybe life is all about fiction and fantasy
Where reality only offers us cruelty and disappointment
That’s why we look elsewhere
To live for something else, to save and to be saved or to love and to be loved

Butterfly

Butterfly, your beauty shifted persuasively
no one dares to paraphrase your mystery
your rebirth is your unspoken myth
you are the beauty that is left behind

your body is vulnerable
with wings as delicate as snowflakes
you get lonely in this weird yet wonderful world
in no doubt, you are not the only one

it is so lovely to see
in this fairy tale, you are the real Cinderella
others used to disgust on what you looked like
but underneath your blurry mask, your charisma is a mind-blowing

butterfly, don't reach the sky too high...
or you may fall and lose your charm
butterfly, don't just come to say goodbye
your beauty is a gift in this world of harm

please stay for a while
released us from heartache and worry
then you can just passed us by

Java Blood

I may speak like I’ve lost my identity
I may look like I’ve ignored my ideology
But in this body, a Javanese blood is moving swiftly
There is a deep bond, hard to be disregarded

The tradition that I never can understand
In their devotion of simplicity and modesty
Even in this era of madness
There are legacies that carry on
The thing that I should have done it too

Even if I was born in the age of technology
And some music is not an unchained melody anymore
I thought maybe music can relief me from the pain in my life
I don’t know why, the first time I heard the gamelan, it soothed me

Don’t know exactly their native language but I feel like I’m home
The music that has been long forgotten, the richest medication for the soul
Through their melody, philosophy is taught rhythm by rhythm
It’s the magical power from the past that keep us out from insanity

No matter where I will live
No matter what I become
Even in another part of the world
This is my root, this is who I am
The java blood in me, this is my identity
