Shy

I try to hide my sorrow
Because there might be no
tomorrow
They all talk and bloat
While I just hide underneath
my coat
They try to crack my code
But I'm in a different mode
They all stand and stare
Because I'm just sitting there
I have a really small voice
But u guess that's my choice
They all laugh at me
But I just say let it be
There's no need to run away
Because I know that I'm ok.

Me

I stand with fear. Examining
the motionless crowd. Not a
baby cries nor a person sneeze.
All eyes are on me. For time
has stopped. And here I sit.
Just a motionless lock. Oh what
I would do for a clean slate. To
put me back at the lake.

A light shines down. My burden
lifted. From now on I am free to
be
ME

Locked

Alone in a lock
Cold and barren
I sit.
Waiting.

Friends are my key
I am set free
I plead them not to leave
Click.
The lock. Snaps. Shut.
