Who Am I

Dust off the stars and drain spirals from
the goddesses. Conform to the bond of my
ancestral alliances. Paint the slopes of my
creative peaks and wash in color
indefinitely. Fly high from conscious and
into the sublime. Map the dreamscape
that it lies behind. Look out towards self
and see me in all creatures. Careful to find
those who am I seekers.

Angel In Your Eyes

Baby, I saw the light
while looking up into your eyes.
Tears streaming down your face,
we were waiting on a better place.
Love filled me from the inside.
You and I side by side,
going
somewhere
brighter on the other side.

Feelings that I can't explain
filled me as my life drained.
I needed you more as time passed.
Both of us were fading fast.
Being driven towards destination,
We were feeding each others determination
going
somewhere
higher on the loving side.

An intense need for you and me
together to be set free.
In order for us to survive
we had to keep each other alive.
Compelled to get where we were going,
neither of us knowing,
Going
somewhere
brighter on the other side.
