Awolesi Oluwafemi Poem
There's one thing I know;
we feel the presence of air
every time we breathe.

Blamed him for our loss
in yesterday's game, but now
I know I was wrong.

Awolesi Oluwafemi Poem
Is it a true lie-
Love is blind
But it is kind?
D'you understand?
A blind man is a kind man,
So is a kind man a blind man;
'Cause if love is blind,
It sees no flaws.
If love is kind,
It gives, gives and gives
So that the other
Might receive, eat and live.
But don't get it twisted,
A blind man may be defeated
Belatedly;
'Cause he sees not the harm the other has done
repeatedly.
He cannot requite,
He just has to be quiet;
He is sapient and resilient,
And since he can't retaliate,
Does it mean he is kind?
How do we define
A feeling we can't deny?
If love is kind, is it really blind?
If love is blind, is it truly kind?
These blow my mind.

Said patience is good
But, please tell us what to
do
When we have no food.

Awolesi Oluwafemi Poem
From an
eagle eye-
my outlook;
I looked
and looked.
My eyes on
you-
twinkling,
as though
I’d been
hooked on
you.
“What do I
do?”
My world I
thought
you had
ruled.
Me, still
look’n at
you was
unbeknown
to me.
Shiny dark,
long hair;
your eyes'o
seductive,
and body
so inviting;
dressed to
thrill,
like the
erotic dancer,
Mata Hari
of the
World War
One
you be.
Heart shook.
Eyes blinked,
and I
stopped to gaze
as I agnized
you got a
new look.
As phenomenal
as the
pages of an
award-winning
Poetry Book
and a
masterpiece.

Awolesi Oluwafemi Poem
Let anything bother me
But, it won't murder me
Let it make me crazed;
Of that, I'm not fazed
Who cares not to know
Tell-
Please, if all and all
Is well
Pains! Gains! Chains!
We share,
Chains!
We break
All for one, one for all.
Even when my heart's scared,
It cares!
Give me shoes- your shoes
Let me walk in your shoes
And, the way together, we shall walk.
Heart is in prison
Heart is in the wood
Tell me the reason
E'en though I'll feel blue
Why do I care so much about this heart?
It fell in love with the you it does sense
It can't stop loving
Can't stop throbbing
Oh, can't stop!
Can't stop asking:
How is she?
How is my halflife?
Where is mine?
Heart wants to be complete
Heart loves no defeat
Heart loves no deceit
Let anything bother me
But, it won't murder me
My Lady, tell
Please,
If all is well.

Awolesi Oluwafemi Poem
She was much beautiful;
I called her wonderful.
I saw her from afar
Sitting on the sofa.
I moved closer;
I felt better.
I asked for her name;
She asked me the same.
I told her about me;
We became acquainted.
She fell in love;
What a good luck!
We got ready for marriage;
We loved each other's image.
I gave her a kiss;
She returned a hiss.
I woke up from my deep sleep
And realised it wasn't real.
