Diamonds and Pearls

We were walking home late one night, we were feeling alright
as I held her tight and I looked in her eyes I said,
if i had diamonds and pearls i'd give them to you girl and pritty things.
what she said confused me in the head!

While diamonds and pearls appeal to most girls,
to me they don't mean a thing, I don't wont
any pretty things nor fancy wrings, just you by my side
holding me tight that's enough for me.

a few weeks latter we went out on a date,
as we strolled along I was humming a happy song,
I turned to her and said, if I had all the treasures of the world
I would give them to you girl, and again she said to me.

While diamonds and pearls appeal to most girls,
to me they don't mean a thing, I don't wont
any pretty things nor fancy wrings, just you by my side
holding me tight that's enough for me.

On our anniversary we stayed home to eat,
by candle light the box caught her sight,
when she read the note she looked like she was afloat,
then she threw her arms around me. It read

If diamonds and pearls don't mean nothing to you girl,
and you don't wont pretty things, nor fancy wrings,
Well I will stay by your side and hold you tight,
for that's enough for me.

Frankly You Dident Give a Dam

Frankly you didn't give a dam
That pretty much summed up
the whole future of the film industry.

People throw their hands up and say
I do not give a dam about what children
watch and mold their lives after.

I don't Give a dam when parents
protested the type of shows that
were placed before the family.

You dont give a dam and you still dont

Breaking Through

A feeling washes over me
When you walk in the room
With each step you take
My heart beats faster.

My thoughts start to race
Like the indie 500 except
At a faster pace than cars
Could ever go today.

My palms start to sweat and
That is not the best part
My color gets wet and
My throat gets a lump in it.

I swear that my heart is trying
To pound out of my chest
I try to fight this feeling but
It is still there.
She said Yes

When I First Saw You

When I first saw you
I knew
that I wanted to be
the one
to raise you up.

I never thought I
could love
someone so much that
I wanted
to share my strength
when things get
rough.

It is amazing when I
think of how we
have grown together
taking it step
by each step knowing
love is enough.

Being satisfied in
the company of each
other
not wanting things,
just nurturing this
true
love for when things
get tough.

I never thought I
could love
someone so much that
I wanted
to share my strength
when things get
rough.

It is amazing when I
think of how we
have grown together
taking it step
by each step knowing
love is enough.

Understanding that
we are to love each
other
and what that means,
not giving up when
the rough times come
rolling in rather
holding tighter.

Look Beyond

Look beyond today.
Look beyond tomorrow.
Look beyond the pain.
Look beyond the sorrow.
Look beyond the flood.
Look beyond the mud.
Look beyond getting stuck.
Look beyond the rut.
Look beyond everyone.

Honey

Our bodies come together in a moment
of passion burning bright casting aside
and burning the line between right.

What started as an ember now are burning flames,
after this night I know our lives will not be the same
I carry you to the bed and get some honey from the stand.

You smile and say I like what you keep on hand
I drizzled the honey on to you
making sure my aim is true.

The mixture of honey and your sweat
are the best taste I have had yet
I slowly kiss my way down as you make a moaning sound
then finally the hive is found.

I Can Hear Her Calling

I can hear her calling like
a lonesome lover longing
for me to return.

Her breath filled with lilacs
and magnolias sweet are
her kisses.

Her touch is as soft silk her eyes
are as the fields green
and pleasant.

Her voice sings like the whipper willow
Calling me to come home my
love come home.

She is a lover kind and true that has
shown me a love deeper than
any woman could .

For it is the South that calls me.

Under the Moon Light

Under neath it's glaring glow
we steal a kiss in the meadow
amid the chirping of the crickets.

The clouds just lazily drift on by
as we reach the greatest high
from drawing closer to the wafting
tide for the path to the lake will lead.

Ware all of our romantic tales it will keep
now before the lake we stand I am holding
your hand under the moon light we remember
our vows our heart are full of love now.

In Your Eyes

When I look in your eyes, I can see a future full of joy,
where though problems will arise, together we will conquer,
them all

In this future I see our strength increasing,
as we help bear each others loads,
when we need it the most

I also see a place, where there are constant surprises ,
around every corner and,
every day is new and exciting,

Where we find accomplishments, while others find loss,
for we do not know the word quit,
until the victory is found

In the night season we find a song in our hearts,
drawing the beat rhythm, and verse from each other,
as we travel through

When I look in your eyes I see a future filled with life.

Romance

Whether it be a walk down the street
or a walk on the beach it would
be romantic to me.

If we were to go out to eat or just
have a dinner for two that
would be romantic to me.

A Night on the town or
a night on the couch
that is romantic to me.

Whatever we do together
is romantic
to me.
