Family Dinner

Everyone is dressed just right,

with our smiles slapped on tight,

we are having a family dinner.

The mood is tense,

yet we have to make sense,

and we can always talk about the weather.

We blow kisses and show our love,

everything is just right.

We shower praises over each other,

and pray that the night is over without a flight.

Ignore the bitter-in-law,

she needs some sugar.

She vowed to deny herself happiness,

since she lost her lover.

Pay attention to the chatty uncle.

He claims to be rich although he eats like a savage.

just nod your head and seem interested,

and hope the topic does not turn to marriage.

Sit away from the young brother,

once an answer to his question, he is on to another.

To the old man he asks,"So what do you do?"

and to the orphan child,"Where is your mother?"

The room is beautiful, the food is delicious,

a night with our near and dear.

This could well be the perfect family dinner,

but only the flowers in the room seem real.

Midnight Lullaby

I wrapped all my tears, to see you smile.
you are the best, always by my side.
I tell you my feelings will get you crying,
you must think I’m out of my mind.

You don’t know, what I know,
all the angels let me go.

We were born to teethe and die,
you will grow to be so fine.
Fall in love, feel your softer side,
Remember me when life is kind.

When you go, let me know,
don’t walk away like the world and go.

Life is rough and the world unkind,
fight them down and you will be fine.
The truth of live is a brutal sight,
make no mistakes, you can learn from mine.

You have a strong heart, you are unique
I treasure times when you smile at me.

Live the life, I could not find,
be there for me, when I say goodbye.

Bloodwoman

When the night comes,
and the world is a away,
the demons step out,
as their corpses decay.

Across Will-street,
lived a mysterious sinner.
A famous voice,
whose faintest whisper made the mighty shiver.

Her long gold locks,
made many a man weak,
till he knew her up close,
where no one could hear his helpless shriek.

Burning lust,
disappeared in her embrace,
then moving swiftly,
dripping blood from her long nails.

She was her daddy's girl, people say,
till she hit him with a gun.
No man could ever escape,
the trap of this woman.

Courage, don't be weak,
don't let your young heart loose.
She is waiting till the night birds call,
she has her sight on the whole town view.

Widows always weep,
the young is red meat,
when she kills all the sinners,
she is the bad woman.
When your daddy is cheap,
you ought to be weak,
but she is not a dying soul,
she is Bloodwoman.

An Unfinished Story

Step by step,
hand in hand,
I was always there for you.
Ups and downs,
lost and found,
I was always there for you.

Even though you never believed in us before,
and you chose the most hurtful way to slam the door,
I was always there for you.

You moved on quickly, never looked behind,
even though I smile today, it still hurts when I rewind.
Through happiness and pain,
every loss and every gain,
I have always been there for you.

The question still exists, the question about us,
my beautiful dreams went up in dust.

Now that you are here in front of me,
it brings back a rush of old memories.
You say hello, you said goodbye before,
I still believe that we could have had so much more.

Step by step,
hand in hand,
I will always be there for you.
through lows and highs,
till the day I die,
I will always be there for you.
