My Own Words

My own words
My own desire to acquire
For only a quick glance
My heart has seen enough to dance
I seek that which the heart cannot see but feel
Then again what the heart desires eyes can see
I exult still to that victory already achieved
I pursue to that which is not yet attained
Indebted hence lacking

Relentless, quietly seeking
The essence of my being gazing beyond the depths of destiny
A longed for desire pursued
A longed for desire searched for
I die to self and linger
Time I seek, time lost
A child's cry is hastily attended to
soft sobs of an infant quieted by a warm embrace
By my own words
I elucidate and narrate that which lies within

At the Comfort of Her Homne

At the comfort of her home she finds peace
Away from all the voices she finds just petrifying to her ears…
Oh how disquieting they have become….
Silently….she screams out for help for the voices to go away
Quietly crying out for help…..she is tormented, suffering
“shut up”….that’s all she can say but to no avail
These uninterrupted voices she hears……..of selfish needs, temporary!
Temporary and to some extend imaginings that may never come to be…..if at all to be
Judged by the world……so isolation is better than inane conversations…..
No…..it’s not self centeredness…..nor selfishness
No….it’s not madness nor Schizophrenia…….
She is just different.

He on the other hand is hurting
Eyes so evidently filled with tears
He is tormented by that which is beyond his ability
With eyes yet again filled with questions he looks up to the heavens, ‘Why God”?
And with a trembling voice, shouts…..”What have we done?”
See…. this is the cry of the helpless……..Who only trust in God to answer
So her heart breaks at His grief…….
She is touched by such things and her heart …………her heart yearns for something new
Something greater…….oblivious to the prevailing situation lies hope
The vain voices seem to dissipate………slowly fading away into nothingness

The solitude she has engulfed herself in……..gradually suffocating her
Grasping for breath she sways uncontrollably
Grasping for light she moves back and forth……..back and forth she is lost in darkness
Grasping for peace……….her heart slowly sinks into sadness
Then…how does she lead him in finding hope…….finding peace
Yet….She seeks freedom from her own self?
Seeking guidance into truth………her destiny must be defined
Her destiny……. is defined.
At the comfort of her home she finds peace……….?
Is it peace she defines or is it just a safe abode created by……..her?
It is a secluded place that binds her……… prison……..
She has imprisoned herself in her own thoughts
That inner voice crying out for help……..”Abba Father………safe me”
Safe her from herself…………
For that place she calls home is not peaceful………Save her!

I Listened

I listened
The sound of the gushing waters on the rocks
Soft sounds soothing to this troubled heart
Soothing and mending
I listened
My soul is yet at peace longing for more
Why is it so demanding so wearing?
Why is it so exhausting? Heavily I breathe seeking to catch a breath
Why so many questions? Is it worth my time………my peace
The peace so freely given……….
I listened
The soothing sound is becoming louder as I search these empty walls
Isolation had brought no joy but sorrow
Slowly I manoeuvred towards the sound………followed the small streak of light
Sunlight stroking this lifeless skin of mine almost scotching but yet warm………
Slowly I walk towards the light…….toward the sound
I listened
There is an open window……….the sound is coming from the outside…it is now more audible
These walls have become a safe abode for me………should I go outside……out where the music plays? Out where the sun shines?
I look for a way out and cannot find it………..panic! as I seek my way out my mood soon quickly changing into anxiety…….
Gently……..swiftly the sound of the water calms me down and I follow the sound yet again to find my way to a door……….there is a way out……..
I listened
First my feet on this foreign ground……….My feet bare on the meadow
It is a new feeling…..barefoot I gently walk towards the sound of these gushing waters
The sound drawing………mending…….it is a beautiful sound……music to my ears
Healing to my soul……….Healing to my heart
The warmth of the sun on my skin………soft sound of the birds chirping from the trees up high……..
The wind softly brushing my soft skin……..I am drawn to the sound of gushing waters
I listened

Spiritual Journey of a Woman

Spiritual journey of a woman
She is the gateway to life’s existence
The motive of you and me
She resides in a world full of malevolence
She decides the way of her success
She consoles and condones that which she values
She is tormented by the adversities reigning that affect her happiness
She toils and lingers seeking the freedom to be
Her journey is infinite
The journey of a woman is knotty, thorny, but yet guided by the Creator
