My Own Words
My own words
My own desire to acquire
For only a quick glance
My heart has seen enough to dance
I seek that which the heart cannot see but feel
Then again what the heart desires eyes can see
I exult still to that victory already achieved
I pursue to that which is not yet attained
Indebted hence lacking
Relentless, quietly seeking
The essence of my being gazing beyond the depths of destiny
A longed for desire pursued
A longed for desire searched for
I die to self and linger
Time I seek, time lost
A child's cry is hastily attended to
soft sobs of an infant quieted by a warm embrace
By my own words
I elucidate and narrate that which lies within
