Activity #28

"Such beauty"
"Such grace"
"Such wonder"
"Such waste"

That is what they said to me
As she climbed the forbidden tree

Some said she'd make it
Some said she'd fall
Some tongues stood still
As she climbed through it all

When she reached the top at last
She found the magic had just past

She climbed down
Without a fight
As people left
Saying they were right

As the leaves began to stir
I stayed there, waiting for her

As people fled
Leaving just us
She came to me
Saying, "It's not lust."

To prove her love, she climbed the tree
So now I know that she loves me

Enough

We used to love
We used to dance
But now it seems
We've lost that chance

So much has changed
So much is new
I only wish
I somehow knew

The stage is set
The curtain falls
And now it seems
We've lost it all

We move on
We keep up pace
As we try to hide
Every little trace

Activity #8

You're the air that I breathe
The calm to my seethe

You're the love that I hate
The one perfect mate

You're the way that I move
I walk in your groove

You're the pill that I take
With all that's at stake

You're the love of my life
Though you fill me with strife

You're the cloud in my rain
Confusing my brain

You're the hue in my clothes
So that everyone knows

You're the hunch in my back
It keeps me on track

You're the word on my lips
The sway of my hips

You're the way that I live
Though it's hard to forgive

You'll be the way I go
For I love you so

Activity #3

I love how he acts all tough when he's around me,
But when he texts me, he calls me baby.
I love how she used to kiss me,
But now she's different.
I love how you used to mean everything,
But now you don't mean a thing.
I love how I used to care so much,
But now I don't care at all.
I love how people change,
But how they don't really change at all.

Activity #39

I hate the way there's silence
When I ask if someone's there

I hate the way I'm empty
Left to just sit and stare

I hate the way I'm lonely
When I shouldn't have to be

I hate the way I'm hated
Thrown down on my knees

I hate the way things have gone
Completely taken off course

I hate the way things are going
My screams leaving me hoarse

I hate the way I'm sitting here
Writing down my pain

I hate the way no one cares
I have nothing left to gain

I hate the way I write your name
When I write something down

I hate the way my dreams aren't safe
I wake up with a frown

I hate the way people judge
Their rubric far from fair

But most of all, I hate the way
You think that I don't care

Activiity #34

One last time
One last kiss
Will the next time
Feel just like this?

If I stop
If I open my eyes
Will it be gone?
Does it all die?

What's protecting
My fragile heart?
What's keeping love
From tearing it apart?

Should I just stop?
Just give up the fight?
Should I just walk
Straight into the light?

I won't give up hope
It will all work out
It's not like it's something
I can't live without

The Puppeteer

She's running toward the light.
She's chased it all her life.
She wants it all to end so bad,
But she will never reach salvation.

She sold her soul.
He tricked her.
The master of deception.
The puppeteer.

She thought he wanted more,
More than just her mind,
But that's all he wanted,
To put strings attached.

She has to break free,
Before he comes.
She must cut the strings,
Pull them apart.

But she doesn't know how.
She's desperate.
She cuts her wrist.
She thinks she just reached salvation.

But she just let him forever have her.
She completed the deal.
She shed the blood.
She killed herself.

Now the light goes out,
And she's all alone.
She starts to cry,
Then she hears footsteps.
He's come for her...

Activity #41

I can see straight through
All the things that you do
Sticking to me like glue
If only you knew
They know what's true
You're nothing new
Someone I won't screw
If you had a clue
You'd find something new
You'll get what you're due
This is your cue
I don't care about you

I Won'T Fall For You

I don't care what they say
I won't fall for you
For all the words that you say
And for all that you do

And I don't care what you say
I won't fall for you
For every day I remember
What you put me through

And I don't care how you feel
I won't fall for you
You had your chance then
Now you choose to pursue

And I don't care how I was
I won't fall for you
People change my dear
You should know that it's true

And I don't care if you beg
And I don't care if you coo
I can tell you this, honey
I won't fall for you

Activity #17

Man created her,
And man destroyed her.
Now mother nature is taking over.
The wind shuffles the bones.
The tree branches reform her.
She is made anew.
She will walk among men.
Doing what must be done,
Righting what was wrong,
And doing what no others will do.
She was once human,
But now she is not.
Reformed from what was once dead,
And she can never be stopped...
