Hells' Gate

Cuts my wrists to make me bleed;
Take this life away from me.
Eyes stitched wide open,
I'm forced to see,
See what this world has come to be.
I don't want to live,
But it's impossible to die,
I can never blink,
Therefore I always cry.
I'm nearing that side now,
Nearing that side of fate;
I'm getting closer,
Closer to Hells' gate.
As I peer through the fences,
What is it I see?
The depths of burning fire,
Coming fast towards me.
Fury in his eyes as he swung open the doors,
He had me on the ground, begging on all fours.
Begging to be free,
Free from such horror,
Sitting there in terror,
Waiting for his order.
With a stroke of his goatee,
And a wave of his giant hand,
He sent me back to where I came from,
Back to my homeland.
I once thought here it was pain,
But I was very wrong,
For the pain I felt there was worse,
Far more strong.
I lay there in my bed,
Razor in my palm;
I drop it to the ground,
And suddenly feel calm.
I lay there to reminisce the better times I had,
The worse thoughts go away,
As I then become glad.
Glad to still be here in this house that I call home,
Glad to be here instead of feeling so alone.
