Tammy Darby Poem
Ash and tears
For the species man
As the infiltrating tentacles of self destruction
Unstoppable
Spread from hand to hand
The earth hid its eyes
So the moon would not see
As she whimpered and cried
For what was to be
The sea thrashed in rebellion
Displaying its hate and pain
While the creatures of the ocean
Floated on salty waters
Decaying upon white sands
In protest of their demise
Neptune's children
Called upon the universes strength
The poison cast upon the waters
Man in golden goblet drink
When the sky wept black tears
The earth hid its eyes
The oceans roared with anger
The moon wailed and cried

Tammy Darby Poem
In my loneliness sorrow
I reside each night in arm's of death
On the precipice of blackness
Icy hands
Cold breath
Retaining only a minute connection
With the living
I wrap eagerly round him
Arms beckoning
As the mist envelopes me
Hopelessness
The woven blanket of pain
Under which we sleep
My freezing heart beat
In the arms of death
