High School

He held my hand when I was down
She took my hand to help me out
They clapped for me when I got up
She hugged me to make my day brighter
I do not know these people and they do not know me
Yet when I need it, they give me a hand
I dropped my books he picked them up
I was lost she showed the way
I was feeling sick they stayed with me to see I was okay
They say high school is hard
In addition, no one looks your way
They say life is rough
Deal with it yourself your own way
However, when I needed a hug, a hand, or a tiny clap
The high scholars I do not know well, they had my back.

This is everything that happened to me on my first week off school a tiny freshmen like me is lucky to be at GHS

Someones Watching

someones watching
                                   one night i was walking
                                    i was walking all alone
and then i got this feeling
it chilled me to the bone
i felt my heart go faster
it beat just like a drum
i saw the shadow up ahead
                                       my body got all numb
                                     i shout out who's there
                                       trying to sound brave
                                      i'm telling you this poem
                                       from deep inside my grave!

(this is a co-owned poem with joylin(sp?) Renoylds)

Before

Sad, useless, all alone
that's all I use to moan
 crying tears of blood
 smearing my name like mud
a lonely shadow in the corner
I was but a lowly mourner
then one day you appeared
and wiped away my painful tears
you said you loved me then gave a nod
I asked who are you
you said "YOUR GOD!"

So What

they asked me what I liked
so I told them
they asked me who I liked
so I told them
they asked me what show I liked
so I told them
they asked me what color I liked
so I told them
they asked me what style I liked
so what if I like
horror, art, music, and books
so what if I like
the boy no one else does
so what if I like
teenage mutant ninja turtles
so what if I like
black, red, and white
so what if I like
to wear shorts or cut up baggy jeans, with a ratty T
so what if I like
to speak my mind and act all free
this is who I am and,
I'm glad I'm the only me,
for if I was not me then who would be?
