Hard To Not Look, Easy To Stay Staring

I've allowed that burning boat to float off without me
Rarely ever thinking about dissipating the flames,
As it is hardly worth the time and effort.
In Truth,
There wasn't much of a future with that situation.
No matter the attempts
No matter the appeal
It was all for naught
The only thing I worry about now
Is looking back at the Flames
And hoping I am not entranced
By their Dancing Light

High-Reaching Hope Leading Destructive Despair

Being Near
It is impossible to say what Feeling is Stronger
Attraction
Nervousness
Paranoia
Or just wanting to wrap thou in an embrace for all the comfort that wants to be shown unto thee

This meager attraction that has sprouted dwindles by what you see in another
This case seems to be always present throughout these experiences
A sheer passing of Anxiety courses through when near this conduit of feeling
Of course, even at the Genesis of these feelings it was known what they were
Now, it just grows and threatens to burst at the seams

Ever expanding with every passing memory,
Every possible moment that could take place between the two
Every Glance in this dangerous direction

The Memories
How they haunt and stretch the Hopeful side
Leading to a fantasy that cannot take root in reality
Even if the seed has been planted
The Watering will never occur by both
In the same degree,

The Paranoia is perhaps a more pressing matter
Leaving this dreamer to wonder if their feelings are right in their place
Or just a calamity that is sure to follow these rushing tides of sensations
When your eyes are averted in a more hopeful and dreamy direction
When a more realistic approach is so near

Alas, I find myself in a pattern
Something that has become most vexing
This newfound desire seems much more realistic than the last few
Although, saying that fuels a Hope that should not have, perhaps, ever been allowed to be conceived
However,
With the progression of things these past few moons
That possibility of Hope growing is Becoming More
And More
Inevitable
With it, comes an even greater chance of Despair
That has ever been known
By this poor stricken soul...

Constructive Criticism is welcomed for this, as well as suggestions that might want to be made.
Please and thank you!(:

Gold Is 1st Silver Is 2nd

Atop This Smoldering Cold Facade Lies Several Shines of Warm Gold, Un Corazon.

Behind, Stands The Silver, Showcasing the Gold In Front, Allowing It's Song To Be Heard and Admired.

And Yet, Bronze is never shown, left in the dust Of The First 2.

Of course, Not All Admiration is shown To Gold or Silver, There Are Those With Preference To The 3rd.

The Yearning and Ache

Once held a Title
A means to associate oneself
With thee Who meant more
Although it was not felt until
Another time
Perhaps the wrong or right time
It is hard to say
Thee Who Meant something
Even though, at the time
I was not meant for thee
Gave what thee needed
Attempted to help
Even when those attempts were taken
Taken and possibly forgotten
Forgot the words, their meaning and intent
Title gone, at times used with a teasing sense
Perhaps even Mocking to what was once something
Maybe for comical purposes too but
I do not know
Regardless, the feeling is there
The feeling of thee, at one point, having a special place in thoust heart
For...someone who possibly did not deserve it
But for someone who came to harbor it
Harbor thou as someone who felt so appeasing
In several ways
The memories that are exciting to think about
To live in
To dwell on
Leaves one in a state of heartache
Not for the possibilities
Those were accepted as nothing but fantasy
A fantasy you appeared to not want to take part in
But for what once Was
What was once so Serene
So...Beautiful?
Would I dare go so far?
In this state of mind...Yes
Beautiful
Is what the moments were
Even if bad and were filled with nothing but grief and worry for thee
And thou's predicament
It always enough to be in thou's presence
To talk with thou and hear thou's voice
Addressing this one, who would revel in thou's every word
Share moments with thee
Those moments were what one would look to
Look to without hesitation and always with purpose
A purpose to strengthen the bond
The bond that would, if not sever
Diminish into something that is...
Dreaded
Dreaded with every chatting
With every sitting
Every glance and mention
Taken with a dread that pierces the very core
The core of what aches for something that cannot be Changed
Changed to something more...
Manageable

Posted this with much reluctance.
Constructive criticism is welcomed.
Any suspiciously hinted negativity will be questioned thoroughly and then decided whether to be removed or not.

Thanks for reading, that is, assuming you did, and not just skim and or scan through for some inspiration, if so then you're welcome for something to scan and gain some degree of importance from.;P

Aurum and Argentum

A piece of Silver found,
Polished to display it's brilliance,
Helped lift others too,
But looked away from in favor of Gold.
Becoming dull in the face of stagnation,
Even with a flare of a dazzling spectacle,
Still Second to Aurum.
For Argentum is rarely admired,
Seen only when appropriate.
Much like the third,
Like it's lost sibling, Bronze.

The Wandering Elegance

Let the Sight wander
Wander where?
How far can one let it go?
It could lead to uncontrollable outcomes
Even thoughts that were forbidden to be thought of
But is the imprisonment worth it...?
To allow the limits to take hold?
Never able to create a outcome that is your own
Hardly allowed to consider something pleasant
Pleasant for yourself
Something that could ease the suffering
Ease what has been lived with for so long
Letting it be washed away
Washed away in the streams of Hope
The waters devoid of Suffering
Untainted by Troubles
Free of the filth of Avarice
But washed with Moderation
Cleansed Delicately
Close to Purity
But never quite There
The kind that Appeases
Freshly Given
To those who Deserve It
To those who Earned It

An Idea So Rich

Allowance
That is the true crime to my mind
Allowing entrance of this Idea
An Idea so intoxicating
It Blinded Me
Clouded Judgement
Drove me through a Fog
That I should've never gone through
The Burning Light
It was the only appeal I could see through the Fog
The only thing that even enticed my interest
Was it Fantasy?
Most likely
Fantasy Enshrouded with Arrogance of my own Design
A Design So Flawed
So Young
It would have been the End of myself
Had I continued after it

Perhaps, allowing the boat to float on
Was the best I did for my well being
Staying Or Even Attempting to go Aboard
Would have proven Fatal
In possibly, the most dangerous of ways..

Remains of the Fire

Embers extinguished
Spiritual fire remains
Wind catches the remnants
Never to be fully brought back
Allow thyself to prosper
Or thou shall never be free

A Small Amount of Chaos

Will the erratic nature of my thoughts never be quelled?
Am I doomed to long for what I do?
Is this the outcome to never having what you want?
If it is...I suppose I should have expected as much
Nay, I knew what would happen
But I chose to accept it
To Endure It
The choice was mine alone
All of Them
For Better or Worse
They were made
I live with them
Being all I can Do
But...perhaps there is a possibility
Although, I know what it is a I am thinking
False Hope to keep my spirits up when they should not be

Catching a Glimpse

A half white half black cat did walk across the landscape,
	Appearing before it a figure cloaked in light;
Squinting its eyes, the sleek furred mammal readied an escape
A hand quickly outstretched left the four legged one with a fright.

Sprinting away the cat made haste;
Light dimming slowly, the shadowed hand gained reach,
The dual colored one’s time seemed to be of waste,
As the black shadow closed around the one who let out a piercing screech.
