Danielle Deason Poem
wonderful slick shell,
Brown and golden, the color of a shell.
That perfect shaped shell.
The shell of my turtle i know too well.
You are the greenest.
The most bravest.
And fastest (i think)
And maybe the smartest too.
You slick and slide,
And glide on by,
The water is what you love.
And you swim in the water, like a dove in the sky.

Danielle Deason Poem
You were told not to lie.
Told if you did,
You would die.
But don't pay attention.
They didn't know how to you in the right direction.
Always high,
Always pushing you aside.
That's why your here,
Here with these other boys.
In this place you called home.
But this man wants to take you,
To give you some place new.
Your too old for toys,
But he will treat you right.
So please don't try to fight.
He wants to raise you better,
And he has a wife,
You've already met her.
So take care when you leave...
Please?

Danielle Deason Poem
You're like a cowboy,
Dark blue eyes,
Dark black hat whitened with the grains of dust blown 'round.
Riding your horse from place to place,
You're laughed at because you respect women,
You're laughed at because you sober,
And you're laughed at because you passed up all those buckle bunnies
And saved yourself for that one special honey.
The one you call Baby, Darlin, and Pretty Lady.
You're not like the rest,
You work for your money.
You don't spend it on beer and cigarettes,
You spend in on your one sweet honey,
The one you call Baby, Darlin, and Pretty Lady.
When your wife had that baby girl,
You couldn't think of anything else,
But spending that money,
A new carriage, blanket, and pillow.
You couldn't wait to hear that giggle,
That little giggle of the one,
The one you call Baby, Darlin, and Pretty Lady.
You couldn't wait to see that smile,
A smile so big you didn't even know if her eyes were open.
You couldn't wait to see her expression,
Her expression from getting a new carriage, blanket, and pillow.
The ones you bought with your own money
That you didn't spend on beer and cigarettes,
You spent it on you honey,
The one you call Baby, Darlin, and Pretty Lady.

Danielle Deason Poem
Your the man of my dreams,
My husband to be.
The one i'll love,
My perfect dove.
You hold me tight,
and we almost never fight.
We're perfect people,
Me and you,
And we fit like a puzzle.
I'll love you forever,
And I know you'll love me too.
You have long hair,
Same as me.
And those perfect eyes,
Way better than mine.
And that great personality,
Better than any i could find.
and that smile
is the best of it all,
No matter what i say,
you couldn't be in denial

Danielle Deason Poem
The one man that can truly make me smile,
He knows everything in my life.
Every inch, every mile.
He's my one dove,
When i'm surrounded by a world of crows.
It seems life has aimed a few bows.
But he has been swift and flew through.
Now i'm here to make him smile and laugh.
And he is here to help me pull through too.
It hasn't even been a year,
And i feel like i've known him my whole life.
I would do anything for him.
He knows we will always be near,
With plenty adventures ahead,
All fears fled!

Danielle Deason Poem
They walk down the hall,
You can't find a smile anywhere at all.
The principal doesn't know what to do,
She doesn't know how to tell the school about you.
The people that know are depressed and sad,
The ones that don't know think it might be bad.
But it is what it is, and they all have a question,
Was it that bad?
We know why you wore long sleeves and makeup...
It wasn't a very good cover up.
You didn't have to use that razor, You didn't have to make that cut.
There was no need to wear that necklace of rope,
No need, To give up all hope
So why did you?

Danielle Deason Poem
Every time I start to write a poem,
My thoughts think of you.
Of your eyes when you look at me,
Of your voice when you talk to me.
I can't get you out of my head,
Not even at night,
When I go to bed.
It's frustrating,
I'm always debating.
Are my feelings for you right?
I feel like a little kid,
But my heart wants to fight.
I ask myself so many questions,
You give me so few answers.
My mind goes crazy,
My thoughts hazy.
I can't keep you off my mind,
A love like that,
Was hard to find

Danielle Deason Poem
Truth is...
I can't stop
thinking about you.
I can't stop
Feeling your touch.
I can't stop
Seeing your face.
I can't stop
Hearing your voice.
I can't stop
Feeling your lips against mine.
Truth is...
I can't stop thinking,
About you.

Danielle Deason Poem
She wanted to run,
To end her life with a gun.
She had no hope,
For what would come to be,
She wanted to flee,
She put the gun to her head,
And wished to be dead.
But the boy walked in,
The one not of a friend.
He wanted never again,
To leave her side,
Afraid of what he would find.
For he loved her,
And she loved him too.
Never again would would he say goodbye.
Only hi,
When each morning,
He woke up,
By her side....
How much he loved her,
He Could never dream of losing her.

Danielle Deason Poem
they said i had no home,
since i acted "bad to the bone",
all dressed in black,
punked back.
Is it a crime,
to like something of mine?
they wanted me to be pretty,
they wanted me to be preppy,
i said I'm not a girly girl,
its just a bore,
to talk all smack,
but never fight back!
i feel so dull,
just talking 'bout this bull
