Lost Love

Your love was like
the freshness of a haiku
which perched on the windows of my heart
and delivered letters of affection..

I remember our meetings
symbolizing the passion of a love sonnet,
charmed with the tunes of our endless talks
to play our serenade forever...

This bond dwindled Like a reverse etheree
when the syllables of our love
blew over the road of misunderstanding,
scattering our precious moments to perish forever...

Every moment without you is
like a freestyle verse
which lacks the rhyme of life
as you took away the contentment of this journey...

My state without you is like a sad ghazal
which yearns for your care and love,
but you moved on like a song
singing the melodies of our lost love...
