They Found Love

True love
Love was absent when they first met
He was really huge and daunting, one to fret
That time, she’s single cause she’s hard to get
Yet they were perfect, my life I did bet!

She said he’s handsome, one of a kind
For me he’s scary, maybe she’s just blind
By then, they were in love, so I didn’t mind
A love so great, only in their eyes you’ll find.

I thought they’re all the same, I didn’t see
How wonderful some select guys could be
He defended her from her envious enemy
fairytale love story, theirs is a real-life epitome. 

This is definitely not my story, I’m just narrating
I just want to share a tale that’s so inviting!
This is my best friend’s saga, no, I’m just joking…
Not a saga, just a relationship where love is emanating.

They have been to countless different trials
They’ve been sharing differences and denials
I know all these, cause my precious number she dials
When she’s lost, I serve as her negative aura’s vial.

Despite their differences, their love still outstands
Though their love is complicated, everyone understands
One look, and you’ll feel them when they are holding hands
They are committed; theirs is one of the strongest bonds!

Scattered Pieces

The greatest mistake I’ll never forget
My only downfall that I won’t regret
There was once a gamble, my life I bet
To my dream guy, everything I beget.

I foolishly placed my heart over my mind
And I thought our destinies were intertwined
It took me years to realize that I’m blind
Now I am lost, and myself I cannot find.

I did my best just to look unaffected
Faked my smiles so sadness can’t be detected
Feelings cannot be easily omitted 
Transferrable? No, it can’t be diverted.

Moving on, really, is unbelievably hard
For every step, It feels like stepping on a shard
Though it hurts cause loving him is more like a hazard,
I’ll love him with all the scattered pieces of my broken heart.

Reflections of Love

Love- a four letter word I can’t seem to understand
the only thing in me that I cannot command
it’s living in me, this love that seems so grand
it’s still in my heart, though I wanted it to be banned.

Love is like an iris that blooms late in june
You will find it, just wait, cause it will bloom soon
at the darkest moments there it will be just like the moon
You’ll see it during the night but never at noon.

Love is complicated, it is a little twisted
Give too much, the balance will be busted
Give less, it will not be appreciated
It is not forced nor kept, it should be emancipated.

It leaves others with an unimaginable pain
If love’s not there, surely there’s nothing to remain
To some, it is worth waiting even in vain
For me, it has already been written so I can’t complain.

Love, I really can’t seem to make it real
If I try harder, it will only make me ill
It’s the only thing that makes us happy, without the bill
It’s also the reason why we have our own free will.

Love is a four letter word that I will never understand.

Me

I’m a girl, yet the name I won’t tell
here’s a story that will ring a bell
this is not one that will surely sell
nor is it one with a sad farewell

I have a friend who is so innocent and sweet
tell her you like her, she will definitely fleet
for her, a cotton candy is one hell of a treat
but don’t be fooled, she’s never far from the word elite.

Despite her attitude, grace and personality
She lacks one little detail we call maturity
Her aura is no doubt an indication of purity
One look and you will sense complete tranquility

Enough of all the praises, this girl is full of sadness
she’s got everything, but haven’t found true happiness
I tried everything just to ease her loneliness
Still, I can’t find anything to fill her emptiness

Princess-like life, hers is an epitome
With a prince charming who is her enemy,
How sad could this be? Why can’t anybody see?
That this lonely friend of mine is ME.

My Lost Love

I can hardly remember how it started
I can barely recall when I accepted
Your love for her, that day it was diverted
That moment, your sadness, finally ended.

It was one afternoon, maybe late November
Was it one cold morning, in early December?
I can’t remember, but the date doesn’t matter
The one thing that mattered was your love so utter.

We were together, and it was one hell of a sight
A love so perfect, we never had a serious fight
But in me was a secret, I hid with all my might
I was holding on to my secret, holding on tight.

Our love did not last long, it ended so soon
Yes, it ended, two days after the full moon 
That time, I know, I was acting like a poon
I regret all that happened that afternoon.

You’re perfect, you’re nice, you are my everything
But that time, I had to come up with something
For you, i was willing to do anything
I regret leaving you, for it changed nothing.

I left you, still you waited in utmost vain
You hid it, but I know that you are in pain.
I was a fool. I know, I may be insane
To let you go and hope to endure the pain!

You tried to reach me, but my heart I asked to lie
When you asked me, my love for you, I always deny
I never thought you’re that weak, my lie you did buy.
I hated you for that, but I did not cry.

Now, I can see you finally moved on
At least you are no longer holding on
I hope you will continue to go on
And pass your love just like a baton.

But wait, before you go, the answer to your question
Yes I did, I did love you, don’t make an objection
I really did, there was just an intervention
So I let it go, and ended in a separation.

Moving On

i won't deny the obvious that you're always in my mind
if in case you didn't notice, then you're definitely blind.
my everything-actions and words are very well-defined
all's nothing to you, so the past and my love, i will bind.

there's nothing left for us to do, when all is said and done
nowhere we can go back to, when the feeling's really gone
I gave you all my love, with all my heart, until there was none
Pain changes people- i guess that is known by everyone

The pain is too much; you left me with no other choice
Though I tried so hard to reach out, you never heard my voice
I was shouting, screaming, and crying, you ignored the noise
I thought you’re different, then, you’re just like the other boys

How I envy you, living life like you’re never alone
You smile and laugh, like you never needed to atone
But then, you’re missing out, you are running as you move on
I want to stop you, but it’s you, there’s nothing to beckon

When you love someone, you’ll never learn to fall out of love
You’ll never get tired of it, just like our God up above
It feels so great, as if you are flying free like a dove
Yes, that’s how it really feels… that little thing we call LOVE.

I feel blessed to have fallen in love with a guy like you 
I didn't just fall, I also grow, that, I really do..
my love for you remains, but hope? i am letting it go,

Lie

I’m taking this first step into the unknown
Because no matter how much I want you to be my own
You’re a good for nothing liar, I should've known
You said I’m your queen but in reality, I’m just your pawn.

I don't know when it really started
But when it'll end, I have decided
Mark this very day, I want you to be reminded
Today my love for you I happily diverted.

Two separate words truly, you and I
Sometimes at night I wonder why
You keep doing things that make me cry
All the sweet talks that're nothing but lies.

We're not really lovers, just friends
When you said you love me, the friendship ends
Losing our friendship hurts but I did pretend

Our Story

First you make me smile, then you make me laugh
You need never ask, yeah, you make me tough
Though this road I chose is a little rough
Knowing you’re with me, is more than enough

You look at me as if I’m your sister
So that makes you my older brother
But who cares? It doesn’t matter
We’re not related so why bother?

When I’m with you, I feel like a princess
Well, don’t get me wrong, I’m not obsessed
It’s just that you make me feel so priceless!
That’s why when you’re not around, I feel depressed.

You’re the first person to make me feel this way
No wonder I’m afraid that one day you’ll go away
 Though I want you to forever stay
These memories will one day be a part of yesterday.

You once told me about this girl, remember?
You said she’s unique, she’s like no other
Yeah, I listened…But I wished I was her
Though I know she’s a thousand times better

You remain by her side despite rejection
I was amazed with that ‘thing’ you called affection
You still followed even to the point of deception
You didn’t notice, right? I was there as your cushion. 

You never blurted it out, but I know you’re in pain

Over You

just when i thought i was over you,

I saw a picture of you with a girl I don’t know
I wanted to shout but then, I will not stoop that low
It’s really hard when you’re only learning to let go
Because looking back will always be a big NO-NO

What’s the big deal? You and I were never together
So why am I hoping to be with you forever?
I guess the two of us were never meant for each other
Nothing really started so nothing will be over

I used to say I wanted our friendship to remain
But after all you’ve done, all I feel is pure disdain
You think I’m so ordinary, just like that- so plain
You didn’t notice that I’m more like a porcelain

There’s really no sense trying to make everything right
Well, In the first place, we never had a proper plight
We never had an argument that led to a fight
Just a love connection that ended one April night

Here’s the truth, a confession I’ve been wanting to tell
I’m really trying to move on, so I can be well
But in my mind, there you seem to comfortably dwell
And so you are making my whole world a living hell.

Please cooperate, please be nice, please be man enough!
When you said you love me, I thought it was not a bluff!
So take responsibility and don’t you dare laugh!
Sooner or later I’ll find the courage to be tough!

As for now, bear with me and pretend nothing happened.
I still can’t accept that our friendship came to an end
I used to reach out and you’ll be there to grab my hand
Now you’re just somebody that used to be my best friend.

It was like a lonely melody...
That night when you said those words, 
I cried while eating a pack of nerds.

'I love you, but the feeling's not enough'
I wasn't happy, but you made me laugh
by then, i knew that i needed to be tough
Cause unlike yours, my love is more than just enough.

'You're the only one, you alone'
those words did not change the melody's tone
you made our love story like the moon, 
everyone knows it's there, but never at noon.

I'm moving on with this journey called life
Cause loving you is like being stabbed by a knife
and so i choose to be free from all the pain
Those endless agonies i feel when i'm in vain.

You said you love me, but that's all you've got
Words without proof, i get that a lot
I'm sorry i'm tired, and no longer have the guts
to still believe in your words, that're totally nuts!
