O Gardener! Strange is your way,
Of adorning the garden,
With flowers all alike,
Of same scent and color.
No beauty in garden.
There’s no charm.
It’s a picture without contrast.
Or a plain canvas.
Quite a monotony.
Beauty is in harmony,
Of different hues,
In blending of scents.
O Gardener! Let there be variation,
Beauty and attraction.

Sail on ! Sail on ! Sail on ! Boatman brave,
Calling thee the singing waves,
What if thy boat is little,
Thou hast great courage and skill.
Endless journey, no limitation,
Each wave is thy destination.
Thou art now solitary,
But hearing of thy bravery,
Of this heroic deed,
Out of dirty lanes and streets,
People will come after,
Thou shalt be a commander.

Twinkling stars teach us,
Shining in the gloom of night,
Smile even in dark,
You will reach such a height.
Look the mighty sun,
Sometimes rises, sometimes drowns,
Time keeps changing,
Life is full of ups and downs.
From the teacher say the nature,
Many lessons we can learn,
Precious more than pearls and diamonds,
Lots of wealth we can earn.

Broken by the thirst and heat,
Limping with my burning feet,
In the vast expense of sand,
That comes not to an end,
With scorching sun over the head,
I drag myself ahead.
Look for water all around,
But nowhere it is found,
Just mirages I can see,
The tricks played on me.
Nearly dead, yet I strive,
The hope is still alive,
I will find somewhere,
An oasis around here.
