Forbiden Love

Forbiden Love

I impose quarantine!
On what is rightfully mine,
If the elders don’t mind,
And choose to be enough kind,
As to put the past aside,
Then, I’ve nothing to hide.

Purity, I believe,
Is hard to achieve,
Your wisdom I perceive,
And reprimands I receive,
But again if she leaves,
I will be the bereaved.

Mine is the fear,
Hers are bitter tears,
Yours is purity,
Mine is unity,
With all due respect,
I choose to defect.

She is My Queen,
Wasn’t easy to win,
She is your kin,
Yet it pricks like a pin,
Makes you grab your chin,
As though love is sin.

You may despise and curse,
Regard me an outcast,
“But what God has put together,
Let no man put asunder”

Based on Ngugi wa Thiong'os book, The River Between.

I Love You

Oh my lovely Jacqueline
A heart so clean
Unto you I cling
Forever you're my cream

Our love will flourish
Your heart I'll polish
Our kids I'll cherish
A love never to perish

You give me hope
In hardships to cope
Trashes to mop
And always be at the top

I love you princes
Even in my moments of distress
You remain to be my empress

To my love Jacky

The Mystery Behind Love

The mystery behind love
	Your love I dare to sample;
Will you bear being my example?
The mystery that you declare is ample;
Enough to scare Ocampo;
And lure him to kiss my ankle.
	Who cares to know?
How the bear stoops so low;
In a prayer mood it growls;
And grabs the hare by its jaws;
And a tear hard to ignore;
Leaves the victim unable to crawl.
	You fell into the right arms;
A well full of charms;
Where when a bell hums;
A spell that causes no harm;
But like a scalpel it turns;
And shreds all vulnerable terms;
Leaving a common phrase between you two;
“I LOVE YOU” …
-	Composed by Dawagwan89,
-	Dedicated to a young special couple, Omar & Vivian…
 -	I was inspired by the way the two relate to one another that hardly can one imagine finding them amidst a quarrel. God bless…

Water Nation

Listen!
You will hear
So vicious
Instils fear
Extremely devious
As it appears
Yet so mysterious
As it disappears
Am so curious...
Wat 'er' nation!

Look!
You will see
Trillions in seas
Humming like bees
Day and night
Marching with might
In vivid sight
Wisdom I seek
Do they speak?
Wat 'er' nation!

Imagine!
The solidarity
By every entity
Perfect society
Unlike 'man-eat-man'
Together they stand
A fortified clan
Indeed I ask
Do they ever lack?
Wat 'er' nation!

to be cont...

Humble Pie

Humility is a virtue,
I wish it were a statue,
So I would take a closer look,
And perhaps find a hook,
To attach my neck,
Or better still my leg,
That from it I would never stray
Underneath would I stay,
My heart would find rest
And my pride a nest.
Eventually it would hatch;
Into nothing closer a match,
To my imperiously naughty,
Remarkably haughty,
Attitude towards society.

Goodnight Note

To a life without end
I want you in my bed
To be a pillow under me head
To my ears be a melody
And in your heart, make my den
Would you mind
Having a good night?

A Yearning

I dare to speak
My yearning's at the peak
I wish I could kick
And propel the 'clock sticks'
So you rush to a boutique
And ready up to be picked
Driven to the pitch
Where not long after they preach
Will allow me to wink
And kiss you in public.

I Speak My Heart

I don't want gold,
For my candy I hold,
You're so precious,
Getting my heart spacious,
Not for a new thing,
But for the joy you bring.

You have my heart;
Guard it not to hurt,
With you I'm content,
Need no other attempt.

I sought love,
And you I have,
Even in our flaws,
Our souls together flow,
We make the 'perfect two'
'Babe I love you!'

I'M PERFECTLY FLAWED

I have known love;
Underneath your tender arms.
In the much you have;
Your smile is the charm.

Your smile brightens my face;
Scaring away my wrinkles.
You make my heart race;
Works up my ankles.

Your heart have I trampled;
And emotions juggled.
I'm full of trouble;
No doubt, bundled.

Teach me your love language;
Embrace me with my buggage.
Lend me your courage;
For fear is my bondage.

Tommorow is uncertain;
I dare not promise.
To cherrish you often,
Is my desire, miss.

In case I'm at fault,
I pray, don't bolt.
My hand please hold,
For I'm perfectly flawed.
