Misery's Companion

Wasted breath upon my chest
Your apologetic cries vacant of truth
A phallic way, you try to impel my thoughts
Masquerading the factualism behind it all
A charlatan, a cheat you are
Diluding the actions of your sins
Presiding yourself as the victim
Another long-winded,air-castle dream
I just wasn't enough to sate your needs
Your parsimonious goals
To the arms of another you fled
Painted on pleasantries,diveying your role
Turning my life into a dispondent mess
Forgiveness will never fall from these lips
Your fate lies within far worse hands
I will no longer cry desolate tears
You will know my woes, feel my anguish
The haunting of what could have been will
Sit upon your doorstep as a reminder.....
Goodbye my misery.

Fate

Crashing waves upon me break
Years of tears drown in the wake

Suffocating what's left behind
Broken dreams for one to find

Time moves on, yet here I stand still
Frozen between death and life's will

Kept to suffer along this path
Pushing forward, wanting to look back

Lost in limbo, the love I once felt
Playing the cards fate has dealt...

Tribute 9/11

Darkness ended that tearful day
Every heart torn, united to pray
Devastation seemed to have stripped all our dreams
Our loved ones we lost, a tragedy unforseen
Each child, each parent, friend or foe
What happened in thier last moments... we'll never know
But, as terror and panic engulfed our very land
God gave us the strength to have the upper hand
We came together as a whole, one nation we rose
Never giving up, merged in love, spirit and soul
So when you think back on this day, with heavy heart and tears
Memories will stay with us, and keep those we lost so dear......
No more fear...
