Darkness ended that tearful day Every heart torn, united to pray Devastation seemed to have stripped all our dreams Our loved ones we lost, a tragedy unforseen Each child, each parent, friend or foe What happened in thier last moments... we'll never know But, as terror and panic engulfed our very land God gave us the strength to have the upper hand We came together as a whole, one nation we rose Never giving up, merged in love, spirit and soul So when you think back on this day, with heavy heart and tears Memories will stay with us, and keep those we lost so dear......
