Ordinary People

"ORDINARY PEOPLE"

In a world full of some billion people
Only a trigger of fear and the heart would be rendered cripple
All men alike, are prone to react with fearsome ripple
No matter the colour, our actions define us as one people.

People need to know people
Those other people need some other people
To fill their rough face skin called pimples
With a smile and a long lasting dimple.

Along the way we strife to know people
All by the way, we go wrong with people
In the same way, we ask forgiveness from people
And we start all over again for we are ordinary people.

Why do people hate their own people?
In like manner people kill people
We hear so many stories of some other people
Threatening to destroy the works of the people
With the brothers of their own very people.

far in the North, I hear the voice of my people
Crying out loud like " oh Lord please help your  people"
Save us from the mayhem brought to us by our own people
Re-unite us back in Peace for we are meant to be one people.

Yes, I am dark and you are fair, I know the skin of my people
Tall as the Iroko, short as dwalves, so is the size of my people
Sweet and Soft like the hibiscus, so is the heart of my people
Oceans of wine, vegetations so green, that is the land of my people.

Arise oh Compatriot,  in one voice, sing loud my people
To serve our father-land, with love, so simple my people
A beautiful nation , a rainbow coated land, a paradise , no fumbles
Together we can be better again, for we are ordinary people.

I know God alone will fight for his people
And put joy in the heart of his own people
Who follow the ways of his son's examples
And upon the heads of our enemies we will trample
To that place of rest we know in the bible.

THIS IS THE VOICE OF THE INNOCENT NORTHERN CHILD,
WE ARE ONE PEOPLE....

Stay With Me

“STAY WITH ME”

Stay, oh sweet, and not rise
The light that shines comes from thy eyes
For the day breaks not,
It is my heart.
Because that you and I must part,
Stay, or else my joy will die
And perish in their infancy.
Reincarnate in me a new heart
Heart, shinning so bright
As new as the dawn of a new day
For real, I will oblige,
To all cannons of our reunion
And anticipate the every joy
That it bring forth in abundance.

The Big Picture

" THE BIG PICTURE "

There is a big story that is yet to be told
But as we journey through life, they begin to unfold
Sweet things of life I see in the big picture
That trills my soul and stands me up to face the future

Sometime ago, when my heart was frail and cold
You walked up my way, so beautiful and bold
Everything good in one place, confirms your structure
And it tells me of God's love to man and nature.

I reminisce the sad days when I shout and scold
In humilty u said to me, you are my diamond and gold
Together in love, we went through countless tortures
But we came out strong, wearing a gorgeous gesture.

This is my story and I'm glad to tell it to the world
I'm fighting for this love, I've got my shield and sword
Loving you every now and then, is my simple culture
And I'll walk on the ninth cloud, to hell with the vultures

You are mt light, my rainbow, that cannot be sold
My perfect Woman, with true beauty to behold
This love I've found, I choose to nurture
A life with you, is all I see in the big Picture.

Good Old Days

Good Old Days...

Slowly and steadily wins the race
So would my old folks say leaving a trace
For you to feel the prowess of God's Grace
Sometimes I wear this sad and awkward face

Looking backwards at the good Old Days
When all was real and love was embraced
The world was far much a better place
For all to live in peace with little or no stains.

Take me back to the good old days
When our anthem was sang in love and unity
When all in unism will lift our banner and sway
So proud of the land with vegetation and Purity

Take me back to the good old days
When all smiles on our faces was real and independent
And not being accompanied by long- suffering always
Those memorable days when all was wise and prudent.

Take me back Home to the good old days...
When family was all that we've got
When envy has no room in our heart to stay
When my battle was the battle you fought

When a tear from your eyes would my attention catch
And my shoulder will be strong for you to lean on
The battle is won and our Joy has forever hatched
there is much beauty here at home so let's feast on

I know you remember the good old days
That in every December the sky suffers much faze
By fireworks we shot for the skies to cry out
Was the story of life we have lived to talk about

Come on Let's chill out with the good old days
When we do crunch up for slimy things
Fun filled the air, and the eyes goes squint
My Smiles came alive just as I saw your face.

My Best 14th

MY BEST 14TH

How can it be that you are here again?
I can remember the last time you came
On the 14th day and the second month of the year
When men and women, husbands and wives
Both boys and girls meet amicably
My heart flutters with joy exceedingly
At last I can show my everlasting love
To the one and only woman of my dreams
And also give her my sweet rose of love
That symbolizes the life we live and love we share
No other 14th can be compared to you
For you bring joy to so many and even the youth
And in all things in life,
You give me so many reasons to love.

1 Look At 1

“1 LOOK AT 1”

1 look at the queen
1 look at the heroine
Who fought my battle in strength
I perceive her fragrance, I wonder.
I move obliquently, I see your nature
Yes, dark or fair in complexion you may be,
Yet I fall at your feet
 And beg for your love.
You make me smile for nothing
I feel intoxicated at 1 glimpse at you
I soliloquize for your sake
Just 1 look at 1,
Is what I desire most.

I Weed

" I W.E.E.D "
2am in the morning, i find myself standing still in front of my large wooden framed mirrow. I gazed tiredlessly at myself, i didnt blink.
From the hairs on my head to the toes of my feet, cluelessly, i kept looking like something was missing.
could this be me? i soliloquised again and again. wondering if there is a little change, but i couldnt see.
with my arms folded, i looked at myself and smiled, in my mind, i visualized the beautiful handy work of ONE MAN.
With the soil of the ground, he moulded and made Man and from the rib of the man he made a Woman, to perfect the work which he has made with his own hands.
I took a closer look again at myself, unambiguously, i could see a perfect work been put in place by ONE MAN, with his own hands.
"Let us make man in our own likeness" , that's what the bible says, that means i am a perfect reflection of the maker himself.
i am the finished work flawlessly made accomplished by ONE MAN whoes dexterity mortal minds cannot fathom,
an elusive dream indeed to behold.
I feel like my mind is about to go haywire, but yet i still feel so estatic about this sterling work made perfect by ONE MAN to humanity.
I am made in the image of God himself.
I am the enbodiment of magnificence,
I am a work in progress because my maker still works in me.
i am a light to brighten every corner and God alone is my source.
i am the dividend of a long+term investment .
i am the outcome of God's own dexterity, made perfect in the form of me,
therefore, I am God on earth.
With joy in my heart, i can go back to bed, knowing in my heart that i can be the best and all that i want to be, Only if,
I WORK EARNESTLY & EMBRACE DEXTERITY.

Just Like Forever

" JUST LIKE FOREVER "

Just like the word forever Sounds
I'd love to see you every minute, my heart pounds
Relentlessly I'll uphold this love I have found
And chase our dreams in love like a hound

I confess my love to no other but you
For there's non on the earth to be compared to you
The night may tarry but morning comes with dew
Sunshine comes after much rain or maybe a few

I can't wait to smell your fragrance and sweet perfume
Your pretty smile that illuminates my room
Your sexy voice lifts and gives my heart a boom
These days without you baby, so much void and doom

Just like the word forever sounds
I want to hold you in my arms all day
I want to be the man, the price I'll pay
Just like forever, my love for you is here to stay.
