Streak of Hope

Looking out into the light so bright,
Waves of confusion, blur, noise,
Unwilling to give in to the forces of nature,
Holding on to what once was,the initialised state, the beginning of the end,
Unaware of the fact that maybe she was not charged enough for the load she was about to carry.

Panting, worried, lost and confused,
The tears rolling down her cheeks just acting as mediums for electrical torture,
As she pushes through the infinite resistance, her courage is induced,
Slowly she starts to fathom the light ahead of her,
Only to realise, the shining light illuminated from her soul.

As the Wind Blows

It's funny how time flies
The people around keep changing
Is this all vanity?
It makes no sense
It's true the saying
You never miss the water until.....
I wonder why it all has to end this way
Special people don't have to go
Why leave when we need you the most?
It makes life worthless
Nothing to look forward to
But there's gotta be more to this
I'm here for something more
Otherwise I would also be gone.

The Time Is Now

Sometimes I keep trying
Trying hard to survive
What does it take
To finally make it work?

Others keep prospering
They keep doing it right
But I've tried, why?
When will it finally work?

I wanna live, I wanna dream
I long for the day I'll finally say
I DID IT! Not in the future but soon!
I want it to work.

It's possible and I know it
It's possible and I need to
FINALLY MAKE IT WORK!

Is It Really Worth It

I sit down and wonder, 'What did I get myself into?'
I love him but is love ever enough?
I hurt, I cry, I hurt again....
Day after day,
Is it really worth it?

But I remember the first day like it was yesterday
Undeniable chemistry, passion and energy
I didn't know I lacked anything until I met you
Suddenly, my world lit up and I knew I wanted you
But was it haste, lust or both?

All was well until the first fight, the second, the third....
The roller coaster of emotions driving us apart day by day
We can get through this, I thought
Our love sinking deeper into darkness
I'm overwhelmed, I'm weak
Is it you? Is it me? Is it us?

A part of me wants to be free
A part of me believes in you
A part of me wants to do better, to be better
I have a decision to make
Is it really worth it?
