HELP ME
When we fight
I want to run away
But there’s nowhere to go
But down, down, down
Your vicious tongue lashes thru my heart
As you beat me with your soul
And I want to run away
So far from you and this town, town, town
If I could just tell someone
I’m just a piece of trash
Would they help me or am I just all alone?
Metal and glass crash.
I never thought I could hate someone
Until I met your sadness
Evil never felt so bad.
You’re driving me too madness
Running, running away from you
To nowhere lasting
Screaming and nobody hears me
As my blood pours fasting
Please save me from this ilk.
I’m too weak to drink my milk
The time has come and gone my friend
I fear the near is coming to an end…help

LUMP IN MY THROAT
Please take the lump
Out of my throat
I’m trying so hard
Not to give up and choke
Panic and stress
Worry and grief
I’m a wreck and a mess
Troubled beyond belief
No work or money
But bills piled high
Isn’t it funny?
I break down and cry
Every few minutes
I fall into pieces
Sobbing –no way to win it’s
Adding wrinkles and creases
To my once youthful face
Now drawn down with fret
If I escape this place
I’ll never forget
But, I won’t look back
Just straight up ahead
Not counting what’s lacked
No staying in bed
Please take this lump
Out of my throat
I’m trying so hard
Not to give up and choke

GOD
Your power lives inside of me
Because the love you give I see
It is the motion in your ocean
It is the quenching of your potion
Only you could set me free
Mojo, Dojo, Buddha, Ra
Shiva, Osiris, Mohammed, God
Only you could set me free
You are the reason for my living
Everyday thank you for giving
You cried for me, you died for me
You saved my soul, thank you oh Holy One……………………………………….

Sometimes I lose my way
And take the road astray
I’m just a human and a sinner
Nothing perfect, not a winner
But I’m working to get better
I sing praise to you in this letter
You gave me life, you saved my soul
You gave me strength to make it thru this all

Leaves fall down
- To the barren ground
Winter sails inward
Wind blows fierce
Alone on a hillside
- Majestic, at peace
Stands the tree in all beauty
Without any leaves
No thought, plans, or worries
- No stress or woe
No shame, darkness, or pity
“To be” is all it knows
The lessons to be learned
- Every day, every hour
From nature’s calm acceptance
To relinquish hope for power
We are one with the universe
- No beginning and no end
We are all here in this together
Flora, fauna, Father, friend
