Peggy Boone Poem
As I've grown older, I've found,
that my body has gotten more round,
as I try it,
another new diet,
I always add another pound.

Peggy Boone Poem
In your 93rd year,
you are given this award, Mother dear.
Because you deserve it,
more and more each year.
You deserve your special day,
for all of the things you do.
The only time I am truly happy,
are when I am with you.
You loved me unconditionally,
and you wiped away each tear.
Mother dear, I will love you forever. .
because you are the reason I am here.
No one can take my love away from you,
a fact that I will never deny.
No one knows why our love goes so deep,
only God knows the reason why.

Peggy Boone Poem
Prissy,
our pet cat,
eats what she wants;
eats many times a day
and begs.

You came into my life, I had no one
You became my dear mother
I have always loved you.

Peggy Boone Poem
I'm sorry, Tinky
that it was me
who let you go out
one last time.
We always let you
go out at night. .
you always came back.
I didn't know that Mommy
wasn't going to let you
go out. .she didn't tell
me until after I found
you the next morning.
If only we hadn't taught
you to meow before you
went out. .you would
still be here; playing with
your little gray furry toy
mouse on the rug.
But, it is too late to fix
anything now.
Not for a second, did Mommy
or I regret keeping you.
We both loved you so much;
the house and yard are not
the same, without our
"little boy."
I'm sorry that I paddled you sometimes. .
I tried not to hurt you.
You didn't need them very often,
you were always a really good boy.

Peggy Boone Poem
When I was a small baby,
so many years ago,
I had no one.
My birth-mother had changed her mind.
Six months later. .
I got the best parents I could ever hope to find.
It did not matter that I had not been born to them,
because I had always been treated as so.
I never had forgotten that I was loved,
because you had always let me know.
So many years ago, dad died. .
leaving just two.
Dear Mother, forever. .we will be together. .
just me and you.

Peggy Boone Poem
I am a Gemini;
it is the Sign of the Twins.
There are two of us.
I am "The Sister of the Darkness."
I see the dark shadows of my life.
I worship the dark.
There isn't anyway that anyone or anything can hurt me,
if I remain in the dark.
My sister is "The Sister of the Light."
She sees the beauty of the light.
She sees the beauty of flowers and birds.
It is easy for her to love.
She likes all animals that walk, fly and crawl.
However, there are not two bodies. .
we are housed in one.

Peggy Boone Poem
All I ever wanted,
was to be loved by you.
Whenever I had a problem. .
just knowing that you were here,
always got me through.
When I was younger,
it never bothered me that I didn't
have some things that the other kids had;
because I had something that they didn't . .
I got to have you for a dad.
Since I've had time to think,
I suppose you loved me from the start.
After all, I was the baby you had chosen,
and had welcomed into your heart.
