I'M Sorry, Tinky
I'm sorry, Tinky
that it was me
who let you go out
one last time.
We always let you
go out at night. .
you always came back.
I didn't know that Mommy
wasn't going to let you
go out. .she didn't tell
me until after I found
you the next morning.
If only we hadn't taught
you to meow before you
went out. .you would
still be here; playing with
your little gray furry toy
mouse on the rug.
But, it is too late to fix
anything now.
Not for a second, did Mommy
or I regret keeping you.
We both loved you so much;
the house and yard are not
the same, without our
"little boy."
I'm sorry that I paddled you sometimes. .
I tried not to hurt you.
You didn't need them very often,
you were always a really good boy.
