Teresa Lyon Poem
Jostled by the wind
A leaf falls from the tree
Stays for a moment
Only to be carried away again
Never to return

Teresa Lyon Poem
As you sit at the edge of your bed
dreaming of the man who should be there,
fog rolls to the windowsill.A shape appears
at the picture windows and beckons for
entry. You slowly rise and walk towards the
door.A smile crosses your lips as a large
man dressed in white enters your bedroom.
He turns in mid stride and smiles at you.
The icy blue depths of his eyes seem to melt
what little defense you give.As he scoops you
into his arms, you feel the earth give way beneath
you.A few moments later you feel the smooth
texture of silk beneath your outstretched body.
Youare set down on the bed and before you can
position yourself,he is on top of you.Legs mingling
with legs, one hand on your back and the other
running through your hair. You cannot see his face,
but you know he's there. He's every man you've ever
dreamed of.Funny how you can't see his face.
His bite seems like a tickle. As his hand runs
across your thigh, your eyes roll into your head and
heslides down your length. He smiles and clasps
your hand, pulling you closer to him. Then with a
quickened movement, your eyes are opened wide.
Your arms grasp at nothingness while you feel his
love inside you.Invisible hands caress you.Invisible
lips taste your flesh.A kaliedescope whirls before
your eyes before you notice that he's gone. You rise
in your bed soaking wet.The sheets are tossed
aside and you wonder, "Was it a dream or was it
really him?"...
...As you sit at the edge of your bed dreaming of the
man who should be there, fog rolls to thewindowsill
and a wolf cries in the night.

Teresa Lyon Poem
I feel I"ve lost a friend this night.
Released from her imprisonment, she has fled.
No longer a slave to this life, she ascends to a higher plain.
Without the weight of her burden, she becomes as a leaf in the wind,
skittering about care free.
Her laughter filling the air.
Sad that I can no longer hear it.

Teresa Lyon Poem
The vibrant colors on my canvas
run together like water from a faucet.
Painting a picture of chaos,
burning the threads of my sanity.
My malleable mind treading water,
losing contact with reality.
My brow is damp with sweat,
as I ponder taking the route
to oblivion.A vision so crisp
it renders me speachless.
Now I'm tasting sweet bliss
as I say good bye.

Teresa Lyon Poem
Infallible plans lost somewhere in the chaos.
Freedom lost.
Locked away in solitude.
Begging for release.
Trapped,helpless.
Can't escape.
The ties that bind have dragged me down and left me to this fate.
There is no more forgiveness.
That time has passed.
Now only blind hate.
Pathetic wretch!
Stop your crying!
You chose this path.
Now take your punishment!
You are lost to me forever.
Mother.

Teresa Lyon Poem
Sorrow's plight to Heaven reach
Carried on angel's wings
Dear God give comfort
To those who do beseach
We are all lost lambs
Searching for our way
Give guidance,Oh Lord
I do pray
That in your wisdom
You'll find a means
To once again bring peace
To end the suffering of our time
And bring us home
Happiness Divine.

Teresa Lyon Poem
He stands tall,his feet rooted
to the ground.
He spreads his arms and
takes a deep breath.
The wind blows over his head
and his hair gets shaken.
His fingers are the delicate
petals of flowers.
He reaches for the sky and
touches the clouds.
Such a creation is a sight
to behold.
It is truly amazing.
A gift from God.
