Write Or Wrong

You came over
I gave in again
You called me honey
And I forgot my plan

Your kisses so sweet
Like we're best friends
No lust on your mind
I couldn't see the signs

When it feels so right
Its usually very wrong
Love and friendship
That's why they write the songs

But when you hold me
So tight in your arms
Oh my dear friend
Make this write, wrong

How will this thing end
This forbidden love I feel
I do not see it ending well
Niether for you, neither for me

Never fall in love
With someone who's just a friend
The sex confused it all
Now my heart will have to mend

I can never tell you
Those three little words
You'd run so fast
I'd be left absurd

Count your friends on one hand
Count your lovers on two
But when you find there one in the same
Then thank God, but pay the devil his due...

A Thousand Whispers

A thousand whispers, extracted from my mouth
Wholly, my breath slowly drawn from me
Mine eyes closed, they appear like honey to see
Catching your deep gaze, as words go south
What was your name? Please don’t pout
Wet kisses I remember, the best
Biting gently on my lower lip, messes
With my head and makes me swoon, no doubt
Strong hands did find course to mine
To clasp and grasp and ever increase
This rising heart, burning up my torso
My body blushing like California wine
In sight there will be no cease
Wanton desire, growing ever more so

Words In a Can

Don’t give me technology
I loathe what we’ve become
give me parchment, give me ink
I’ll write in blood, I’ll write on sheets.

Bare walls suit me fine
I prefer pencils, and my wine
where have all my good friends gone
oft to sing their sing sing songs

We could share this apple cake
drink milk and whiskey and tell tales of take
of confession and penance and love be damned
oh if words could come in a can!

This tiresome fight
I can't begin to explain
selling our souls for gold or fame
does any one even hear our pain?

We prostitute our writings out
only to see our hearts torn now
its only real if written down
words have no meaning, unless typed down...

Classy Lady

Most females have forgotten that it takes more than
just being a woman to qualify as a lady.
Many women think that being sexy is all about
T & A, and not about inner beauty and the attractiveness of a gorgeous mind. Hence, they have put these ideas into their children growing brains.
So many of our young girls think sex is love, that's sad.
Way to many females don't even know what a classy lady is, they think it has to do with societies class system. This is because they have never met a classy lady, only trashy females trying to convince everybody they have class, all while their ass is hanging out!
The problem here lies in good role models, for all ages. Just because a woman is financially successful does not make her an appropriate role model. Having money and having class have NOTHING to do with each other. Fortunate girls have been blessed with good role models who were truly a class act ( hence their actions were in concert with their character as women). Some of us were shown a classic classy lady in our grandmothers, mothers, aunts, sisters and friends. Many were not that blessed.
Raising a daughter with class, confidence, intelligence and inner beauty can be a tall order in today's world. The media has twisted these values substantially. Parents, you know what you have done or failed to do. Instilling integrity, fidelity, honor and character is your job when raising a child. When a young person without basic values is turned loose upon the world, that word "classy" can determine there future. I know the task is difficult, but think of your love for your child. Do you condone trashy or promote classy? Kids can't be left to teach themselves ethics and self worth. I challenge parents to step up to the task and give your kids the gift of good parenting.

A Smile To Blush, Petrarchan Sonnet

To see you flash a smile to blush
Small twinkle in your eyes of green
I look and want for that scene
Watching from my hidden brush
I think I might have a crush
My heart overflows and teems
Can this lust ever be weaned
I settle on your desk like dust

An inkling you must have old friend
I’ve seen the way you stare
I’m trying to look back at you
Reciprocate what you send
Glancing back, am I that fair
Pasdiin is always a dare.

Letter To Dad and Stepmom

Over the years I have felt your disapproval. You have impressed upon me that I should own my mistakes and take personal responsibility. The problem I have with this is that many of my actions as an adult are a direct result of childhood wounds that I have tried to shoulder alone. I never wanted you to feel that weight I carry. I have not been able to place the responsibility on the true responsible party. As a child, I should have never been blamed for all my shortcomings as a human being. I believe a child cannot be fully accountable for their bad behavior. Environment, parenting and nature versus nature plays a huge part in the person I had become. By the grace of God, I have done everything in my power to overcome my wounds. Now forgiving and forgetting, as Jesus does has been my mantra. Forgetting has been the hardest. No matter how much I try to do this, I am sometimes incapable of this. Playing a blame game is not what I am trying to achieve here. I am simply attempting to make peace in my life. The secrets I have kept have been a source of obloquy for most my life. These things I cannot tell you because I don't want you to feel the pain of my hurts. Just know I have tried to protect you, as I felt that I wasn't protected enough many times. There are serious issues I cannot bear to voice. Carrying around this yoke has been exhausting. I will take many things to my grave. Please know daddy, all my actions have not been all my fault. I was a child once, a very broken one at that. I have acted out and been passive aggressive in way to many instances. I tell this confusing information now, not to make up excuses, but to repair our relationship. I need your forgiveness, but possibly unbeknownst to you, you need mine too. I love you unconditionally and miss having my daddy in my life.

Garden of Fire

In the sunrise hue~
Awakened by such-~
Your softness touch-~
Discovering you~
Then I knew-~
In that clutch~
Romance so much~
And all was new~
Shaking with tension~
Touching your petal~
Scent of sweet desire~
No need to mention~
Where passion did settle~
That garden with fire~

Sunbird

Scrambling across the sky
Oh, just to know
How the sun bird flies
With my brain in tow
Growing in my mind
Fluttering on a wing
Flight from shoreline
Oh, how he sings
Lift on high old one
Perch upon thy crag
Closest to the sun
Waving your feathered flag
How we so enjoy
Your screech of ahoy!

Rose Rocks

My true love gave me a rose rock today
It came from stone gardens
Down Noble way
Begging their beauties pardon
They had so much to say.

Long ago on a trail of tears
Native maidens cried aloud
Consumed by unknown fear
Rain above burst from cloud
As Oklahoma they neared.

Warriors blood ran through the lands
Endless walking day and night
The roses grew up from sand
Blooming from the awful plight
The Cherokee tears withstand.

My true love gave me a rose rock today
I had never known what it meant
A tale of courage they say
The rising cries were sent
A journey made as natives pray.
