Deloris Beasley Poem
A walk on the beach
Feeling the warm sand between your toes
The smell of the salt air
Sounds of the waves crashing ashore
Finding a old love letter from your husband
Filling you with memories
A summer breeze blowing in your hair
Feeling the arrival of fall
Laying in bed thanking God for his blessings
The sound of your Grandmother singing gospel songs
As she rocks in her chair
My most precious memory
It's the little things that you treasure

Deloris Beasley Poem
When her thoughts are her own
She often thinks
Maybe I could have been
She remembers being so young and innocent
As she looks into the past
In the golden years of life
She says I could have been
Wife and Mother
She chose to be
She still looks back and says
Maybe I could have been
She holds the tears inside
Turns and walks away
Her heart says softly
Never look back

Deloris Beasley Poem
I love the late of the night
Your thoughts are so clear
Letting go of the trials of the day
The peaceful feeling of solitude
You can't touch or see the peace you feel
Before I give up the late of the night
I lay in the dark
Thinking what's tomorrow going to bring

I can feel my guardian angels presence
Watching and protecting me
Angel In My Heart
When I feel the love of my family
My quardian angel speaks to my heart
Angel In My Heart
Your loved ones will alwaus be in your heart
Cherish each day...each one holds
A special place in your heart
Just listen for you angel
She's always with you

Deloris Beasley Poem
When you hug your child
Seeing the smile on their face
The comfort from a friend
When life gives you pain
The silence of a prayer
That God only hears
Seeing your family bond together
Always helping each other
The love of your country
Filling your heart with pride
Silent love in so many places
It's always there to comfort us
