Last Breath

Given two hands,
Yet those hands will never hold anything.
Given two eyes,
Yet those eyes can see nothing.
Given one heart,
Yet that heart has never known joy.

Befriended by no one,
Nor loved by anyone.
Granted nothing,
Nor possessing anything.
And so I pray for. . .
My last breath.
