Street Dweller

If I was a deaf person
would you ever talk to me
Or would you just pass me by
In favor of simplicity.
If I was a blind person
Would you ever guide me through
Or would you just set me off to myself
For someone else to rescue.
If I was acrippled person
Would you ever carry me
Or would you just shun me off
Claiming to much difficulty.
                    BUT
If I was just a lonely person
Huddled up in my cardboard home
Would you ever stop by to visit
Or simply leave me alone !

Hush My Baby

hush my baby listen very close,to
everything you've ever heard.
so you can remember,
every sound and word.

being strong against your deepest fear,
that one day you may not hear.

though thiers no real gaurentee,
thats sounds will take priority
you'll remember each sound
and hear by what your eyes are able to see.

i know it won't be the same,
as when you could hear,
but you have to be strong
against your deepest fear.

so hush my little one,
listen close to all you've ever heard.
so you'll remember every sound and word.

just remember we will always be here,
when you need a hug,
to make the anger disapear.

caused by the stillness ,
that haunts your ears.

This Ring Around My Finger

While packing away a few of your things
Ifelt may cause my heart misery
I realized how hard it was
to stow away the memories
The life we had together
Is impossible to erase the past
with memories lying around
for a lonely heart to grasp

Spots on the dresser
where makeup use to set
A row of empty hangers
haunt your side of the closet
Dust filled drawers in your favorite chest
An untouched pillow next to mine
where your head use to rest
This ring around my finger
where the ring you placed, use to be
All the ache in my heart
is far to much for me

While packing away these things
i recalled the first time we met
When we were young and shy
did'nt know where life would take us yet

Growing older and deeper in love
we decided on a summer day to be wed
Our parents felt we were a bit to young
wait a spell they said
We replied no way,we'll make it last
even though we did everything right
I now stand alone
staring at this ring around my finger
In the shadows of our past

Reunion Day

where does all the love go,when it gets taken away.
does it die with the heart,or go somewhere else to stay.
is there a special cloud, where it all gathers to live.
until a new sole is born, and needs love to give.

does it drift down and drench, the new child with all its love.
or does it hold a little back,to share with the angels above.

where does all the love go,when it gets taken away.
does it die with the heart,or go somewhere else to stay.
or does it spread itself out, into the hearts of all the loved ones left behind.
to help them along they're way,and constantly remind.

them that they're love has not been stopped, only partially taken away.
to a better place in time, waiting for reunion day

Beautiful Angel

From a distance I saw her there
Those tight jeans, that long satin hair
Flowing in the breeze, like an Angel from above
She casts a spell over m,a desire to feel her love
But she's much to beautiful, for an ordinary man like me
staring into her eyes, she fullfills every dream
As she walks across the room, its hard to control my passion
My heart throbs,my hands sweat,I feel myself colapsin
As she cast's her spell over me.

What'Ll I Do

lying here in this lonely bed,trying to go to sleep;
with thoughts of you filling my head.
what'll i do ;now that you are gone,
i have'nt got a clue.
with memories around me everywhere.
the scent of your cologn, lingers in the air.
what'll i do
if i forget and set the table for two.
then realize what i have done,
then i can't stop crying over you.

what'll i do without you here,to hold me
and comfort my fears.
or tell me not to worry,
as you wipe away my tears.

i can't believe i won't have you here,
 when thing's go wrong
or kiss you tenderly like i use too ,
when the kids went to sleep, and
it was just me and you.

where will i go from here,now that you are gone;
will my heart return to normal,
when this darkness turns to dawn.
tell me honey,what'll i do
how can i go on like this, missing you

A Grandpas Wish

You are only a figment
of my immagination
But later in life
When I meet your mother
You'll become my flesh and blood
A girl a boy
It does'nt really matter
My love will be the same
As you grow into adulthood

Thinking of a family of your own

Agirl a boy
It does'nt really matter
My love will be the same
As soon as I grow up
I'll meet your grandma
And my wish
Will finally come true

Sit Down Baby

I get crazy pacen the floor
waiten for you to walk through the door
From God knows where
talk to me baby-give it to me straight
My thoughts are emotionally impaired
I overheard you tell a friend
just the other day
you had figured out an easy way
To tell me you were through
sit down baby-give it to me straight
tell me its just not true
I'm not sure what its all about
Seems to me you have it all figured out
But i would'nt know
Cause the only thing you say to me anymore
Is good-bye
As your walking out the door
Leaving me at
With only loneliness to face
Sit down baby-give it to me straight
I'm about to become a basket case
Sit down baby-give it to me straight
Tell me its just not true
Tell me-I'm not wastin my time
Stayin in love with you

Mother Natures Waltz

Standing in front of my picture window
after drawing open the drapes
I see the sun stretching over the horizon
showing off mother natures shapes

before i knew it i was looking out over the valley
watching the night settle in
As the sun falls deep below the mountain tops
yet another day comes to an end

It was like seeing it all for the very first time
and i found it hard to turn and look away
From all the wonderous sights
that start and end each day

As i reach across the table
to turn up the oil lamp light
I felt a scence of ease
When i realized i could watch it all again
all through the day and night
