Yes I Know

I once bared a mark
Of a broken heart
That took my sanity faraway
And had nowhere to stay
Everything was a war
Everything was sore
But yet I breathed again
Enduring all the pain
Yes I know

I had to start somewhere
For me to care
I had to find hope
For me to cope
I had to look around
For me to hear the sounds
I had to smile more often
For me again to blossom
Yes I know

Time patiently healed
And what was the deal
Along came another heart
Allowing me a brand new start
And with all the strife
I have to accept this life

Pride, and Prejudice

PRIDE IS HOW IT BEGIINS:
He comes once around in my lifetime - take note,
He will turn everything upside down and on its head,
He will show you how pure it feels to make love to him,
He will give you his body and soul - no holding back, 
He will start to love you with a love you've never witnessed before,
He will throw emotions towards you with fire in his blood and fire in his emotions,
He will show you how complicated one person can be - its no simple voyage,
He will show you how a hardcore introvert lives with silence being voice to you,
He will write poems about you and leave it by your bedside table.
He will flourish as long as you are happy with him and him with you.
He will let you know you've met your match - dont come with your bullshit hey.
He will not be afraid to show you how he cries and shed tears of sadness.

PREJUDICE IS HOW IT ENDS:
A COMMON TALE IN THE WASTELANDS OF CAPE TOWN:
And now for the most important one above all, 
This is what he will swear by (cross my heart and hope to die),
HE IS NOT AFTER YOUR MONEY BUT YOUR HEART FROM START,
Everything of him, it will be yours even if yours isn't he's.
And dont be a fool like some that regret losing this/their beautiful Filipino boy,
Because you looked past what his heart's good intentions,
And if you love someone nothing else really matters...
Although naive but don't let other's advice be there sword that kills you;
Dont give in to your's and other's prejudices against this boy (its not fair),
HE IS POOR, HE IS COLOURED/MIXED RACE OR HE HASN'T GOT A GOOD EDUCATION,
Its post apartheid/1994 in Cape Town , Its ok to have a mixed race or black boyfriend.
Just be above the bigotry and nastiness (dont be afraid to chose him), 
And never let regret forever haunt you with those two words - WHAT IF?
The colour of his skin and the lack of money in his pocket - it doesn't matter,
Choose love above all and don't let that boytjie go don't be a fool, 
Racism and judgement destroys souls some never recover from it. 
For as you destroy people of pure hearts you invite yours to condemnation.

AND SURVIVAL THE BOY ENDURES:
Coloured/brown/mixed or black boytjie I know one day you'll find whatever you looking for, 
Your heart will gather such goodwill on your life and above all never change!
You are brave and endured enough but remember you still here and still fighting,
Your heart is still there in the same spot and it will never fade.

In the Arms of An Angel

There is no other place to compare
With nostalgia and profusion it bares
A place where I dissolve my thoughts
And a convention of love never bought
When I am with him I forget about time
But still recording every little moment - I’ll be fine
This is the place I call home
In his presence is where I roam

There might be days of sadness
There might be weeks of madness
Nothing for my hearts content
But then the thought of him - gives me spirit to defend
Then I see it all and everything disappears
In his presence I have no fears

Not a list of any demands

I treasure the magical time we shared, that every days

On Suicide's Watch

A new poem to complete
An empty space bleeds
A beautiful, sunshine glory we need

His young life is unfinished, 
Dont let him feel like its diminished, 
Watch him from the corner of your eye as he cries,
He looks fine but hiding in his mind, 
Ask him how life is currently today? 
Make sure he is not willing to disappear away,
Sometimes you dont know that you're lost,
So think brighter and leave alone the past, 

Life is ok Mr it affects us all, boytjie its ok to be stonewalled, 
There's no Jesus or Mother Mary and Jesus Christ the son, 
Heaven's silence is so quite that I am even stunned numb,
But angels willing to help you from darkness to some sun or to someone, 
i can guarantee you that if I make you smile now,
That all your worries and sorrows arent so big of a wow,

I'm here to help you, 
And make sure life is not blue,
Dont give up and dont give in,
Suicide is a bad idea and it shouldn't win,
Believe you can, can and can,
Push through like you can, can and man.
I care, we all care,  someone cares about you,
Be brave and not sad and accept you,
You're an untold story,
A beautiful sunshine glory.

A Lady I Am Proud Of

A twin beauty beside me 
Shared my life to a new beginning
And to a kind ending 
A companion in the magical world
And a cheerful team mate

I shall never dissolve our memories
You have created and played before my eyes
As I go through my travels of life 
I go through it with you beside me 
A guiding light
A soft, calming spoken voice
A protector without fear
A girl with a motherly instinct
And a lady I am proud of

This Is My Heart

This is my heart
It is stronger than you think 
It's strength was built on pure abundance of love
Everyday I breathe, live, love, feel, scream and laugh 
It pounds ever so fast and keeps me holding on
My heart is true only to me and the people I love 
It is unconditionally forever here inside me
It is in my smile, my eyes, my touch and my kiss
It is everything I am and forever will be inside me

This is my heart
It is in the feeling of my heart strings being str

A Butterfly's Kiss To Meet

I sing an enchanting song for you tonight
With many-hued lyrics that's so bright
And lots moonshine and beetles alight
Look into my eyes of pure delight

I can only give you from what I am
The spirited boy and dexterous man
Everything can be a shambles of whispered leaves
Dont be intimidated if I one day go on my knees
 
You caught the tinkle in my eyes seasons ago
Born from a distant planet and stars that's all I know
Often I'm a benevolent boy with a cuddle-some heart

It Will Be Ok

I really did take note 
On how to keep a man
I've seen everything
Like a hawk's eye 
With panoramic views
Cant do much no its late
This is all my strength here
I can give anymore or less
We are so useless if it hurts
When emotions kill us

Lets play
The game
You and me 
I love, you hate
I like, you dislike
I smile, you frown
I tear up, you laugh
I plant good, you kill it
I open up, you close shut
I fight for you, you dont care
I accept, you dont acknowledge
I love the quietness, you stormy 
I want goodness, you want ugliness
I bring happiness, you bring sadness
I always remember, you always forget
I agree to disagree, you agree it is over
I beg, beg and please, you like no and no
I bring home flowers, you throw them away
I believe we are to opposite, you prefer to quit
