A Year In Review

Now I see there is nothing left to say
Now I know there is no more time to waste
We believe we can move on to better days
I just wish there were better ways
Unkind words and hateful stares
Times when you lied and felt unprepared
Broken promises and shattered dreams
Faith when others wouldn't believe
Fallen tears and unknown fears
Another wasted year
No light no time
No strength no life
Holding back a built up cry
Forget the life and forget the time

Making a Monument and Leaving a Legacy

I remember how every word fell
just like the tears that filled our eyes
How everyone was a good enough reason to retry
I remember how every lie fed the fire in me
I remember how I led myself to believe
believing all the lies
never reading in between the lines
leading myself on
Laying my crown at the wrong feet 
so willing and so ready
So lost and unbelieving
I saw the last storm cloud
I saw the star burn out
I remeber how my words fell without meaning
I remember how my love went out so wastefully
I remember how much it hurt to turn away
I remember the hurt of every promised day

What more do you want me to do?
I've done everything I could possibly do
I've taken every shot I've seen
I went down every path to make you happy
but it just all blew up in my face
How much longer must I wait?
Please just move on from here,
cause I'm tired of the same old thing
I don't want to see you,
I don't want to be with you
I used to think you were my miracle
I should've never started to believe in miracles
I can't wait for you to move on
I can't wait to not have to care about you anymore

The Tide Has Turned

You are my cancer
and I can't take the laughter,
Your voice and your actions
make it impossible for this to happen.
"Could you please just say things will be ok?"
"Do you think we could try again another day?"
Hard times come fast and when it rains it pours.
So just forget all the scars we wore
Cause this is the last time
The last time I ever want to speak my mind(to you)
"I can't say if it will change and we can be,
but it was never up to me."

I Don'T Think I Could Steal Second Even Without My Foot On First

I'm so sick and tired
and I can't run another mile
No more strength to raise my head
No more faith to live again
I can feel my lifeforce drain
and I can't take the pain
These hands aren't holy enough
I don't deserve your blessing touch
Yes these lips were meant to praise you
but it's something I'm not worthy to do
I am so weak
I need your stength
You are my light
You are the reason I fight
You are my only need
You are my everything

It's Always Harder To Watch From the Sidelines

I've tried so hard to solve the problem
but this machine isn't stoppin
The motion has been set 
and the time has not been spent
I know I could have stopped
I could have cought my heart instead of watching it drop
Now I wait on a bed of nails
And every beat causes another impale
I could have predicted the end
I was just to busy thinking of ways to begin
Wipe away the tears
and face your fears
Cause tonight we live in a different light
and nothing can change my mind

Thank You

What's the only thing I can say?
Is that I'm happier this way
We both watched the last tear fall
We both felt the same broken heart
It only took three months and a million tears
to realize that it's better this way
So much better off this way
From sickness to heartache
The memory is all that's left of this terrible mistake
Everything that meant so much than 
Everytime that was spent so close
The whole entire thing to me was acting out a memory
and now I don't know the difference
between this performance and last
I now know that the tears that were wasted
and Pieces that were absorbed were worth it
So now what's the only thing I have to say

On the Lond Walk Home Irealized

So cold and so far along
So many things done wrong
Laughter that faded into tears
The haunting flashbacks of the past year
Promises with no upkeep
and lies that brought me to my knees
The time spent, meaningless
The love lost, hopelessness
All the times spent so close
Could never feel so far away
Nothing could drag on for so long
Nothing could cast a shadow so far
No one else could cause this crash
No one else could just sit back and laugh
Everyone wants to look at the past
Everyone sees what it is you lack
Everyone feels your knife in their back

The Stars

Every star burns a whole in your beauty
Yet you still are the only thing that consumes me.
Every word melts away with the fire of the stars.
They burn so bright, I can't see your beauty
yet you still mean everything to me.
I can't wait till the stars fade away
leaving only the Son
Together we dance the day away
bowing at the feet of the Son.
I can't wait till every star fall tickles your body
and the ocean's waves are the only thing that calm me.
Your love is all around me
the stars are the only thing preventing
I'll take the rain and give you life
Let Him calm the storm and take the strife.
One day our beauty will be divine
and our love will be in perfect time
We'll both answer our Creator's Call
And at his feet we'll both bow.

I see you I know you I want you I love you
Your the only thing I see
And you mean everything to me
You make me complete
and you make me clean
You make me strong
and you make me sing
You're everything I've ever known
You're the reason for the love I've shown
Now I can't turn away
Cause without you I can't move anyway
I hold on so tightly to every word you said
I hold on so tightly my daily bread
You're my reason for living
You're my reason to dance
You're my reason for giving
You're why I take a chance
