Death's Relentless Pursuit

Death chases me down
like a pet on a leash
just waiting for its owner
to allow it freedom

It grabs those it can reach
for now
It will eventually be allowed
to swallow up my body

It knows my soul belongs
to the Master
and its efforts are in vain
still it tries to torture me

I try to share my escaped
with anyone who will listen
some will not hear
depression takes ahold

Its grip cannot hold me for long
the lightness that I cling
to devours it.

Death continues to chase me
but I am already free.
Jesus is holding me.

I can't save anyone else
but I am allowed to warn them
Death is relentless in its pursuit
The word of God our only protection.

Seek him and make my heart glad.

The Last Chapter

Be happy.
It's later than you think.
Enjoy your planet,
its destruction is at hand.

Be kind with your words,
be kind to man.
Give, give all you can.
You will lose everything,
accept God's hand.

In him you will find,
the answer to that crazy ryhme,
the riddle that doesn't end with time.
Know that you've been given the key,
it wasn't lost in humanity,
He holds eternity!

The key,the bridge,the way home,
in your heart you have always known.
So don't click you heels three times,
open your heart to unlock the door,
you have been chosen forevermore.

When you invite him in
your time will no longer be at hand.
You will never understand God's perfect plan,
but peace will be unraveled, unshaken,if you endure.

Walking hand in hand with you creator,
the Author has finished the neverending book.
The ink is not dry.
The last chapter is Grace.
Goodbye destruction! Goodbye,goodbye,goodbye.

Family

Familiar
Annoying at times
Miracles
I love them all!
Lend me the shirt off their backs
Your family tree is the best shelter!
