Changing Times

ALL THE PEOPLE I THOUGHT I COULD TRUST
THE TRUST IS NO LONGER THERE
ALL THE PEOPLE I THOUGHT WERE REAL
HAS TURNED OUT TO BE FLAW
ALL THE PEOPLE I THOUGHT WERE FOR ME
  HAS EVENTUALLY TURNED AGAINST ME
ALL THE PEOPLE I THOUGHT I COULD COUNT ON
HASNT RESPONDED TO MY CALL
ALL THE PEOPLE THAT BE FRIENDED ME
  HAS BECAME MY ENEMIES
ALL THE PEOPLE I THOUGT WERE IN MY LIFE FOR A REASON
HAS ONLY BEEN THERE FOR A SEASON
ALL THE PEOPLE I THOUGHT WERE MY RIDE OR DIE
WHEN HELL ERUPTED THEY NO LONGER SHOWED THEIR FACES
ALL THE PEOPLE I THOUGHT HAD SUPPORTED MY EVERY MOVE
  HAS SPOKEN AGAINST

Way Outta Line

Virgo is my sign
A lady is how I live
A classy chick is what I abide by
A Woman of God is who I am
A woman is what Ill forever be
I will NEVER be anything other than or beneath
I will ALWAYS be more than and beyond
I know when to show my ass
I also know when to act like a LADY with CLASS
A lady always know when to open her mouth
And when to keep it on me
I may crash but Ill bounce back
Realizing the fact that I know who I am
Being a LADY didn't come over night
It took time, dedication, and work had to come forth
It's NEVER to late to become a LADY
It's NEVER to late to be CLASSY

Features of a Mother

A mother's love is like God's
love sent from the heavens
up above
A mother's touch let's us
know that we can overcome
so much
A mother's hug is like a heat
blanket that keeps us warm
on a cold winter day
A mother's kiss is a kiss that
will get us through our darkest
nights A
mother's eyes is from all the
tears shes shed worrying
about the path her child's
heading down
All the restless nights
worrying about her child's
safely journey home
A mother's hands is from the
times she made sure we had
clothes on our backs and
food to eat
A mother's knees is for the
times she went upon her
knees and prayed for our well
being A
mother's feet is the journey
she took to get us where
we're at
Without your prayers we
would not be here today
Without your strenght and
your encouraging words
We wouldn't have made it
through this thing called LIFE

Transitions of a Mind

With closed eyes the spirit of darkness begin to fall
upon me
Anger, hate, depression, and suicide is all I see
With open eyes the spirit of lightness begin to reign
upon me
Joy,peace, love, and happiness is all I see
While glancing in the sky I begin to notice
Lightness and darkness begin to unite
Continously on an ongoing battle
Trying to get a better understanding of who has
dominion
Over my mind,body, and soul
Constantly finding myself being enticed from left to
right
As if I'm playing tug of war
With a feeling of being a lost soul
Being trapped in a cruel and cold world
Whose on the move of finding that special place called
home Even
though I was being covered by God's Holy
Angel's
I constantly find myself walking in complete darkness
While strolling through a tunnel full of death and
destruction
Glancing up ahead noticing a light that
Shines as bright as the sun itself
The closer I get, farther it is away
As I'm approaching my final DESTINATION
An angel came unto me saying
If you continue along this path
Better days are yet to come
Your struggling days will soon be over
Your hardships will eventually fade away
Every step I take, every move I make
All things that wasn't of me begin to slowly disappear
