Aesthetic Treasure

Trees are amazing and surprising
They are both productive and attractive
Tree species come in different varieties
There exist deciduous and non deciduous
When drought strike
They either evade or defend
and when the weather behave
They nourish and flourish
And form lucrative aesthetics
Plant a tree, get aesthetics for free

Finally We Tied the Knot

No thanks, was what she first said
A phrase that lingered in my head for days
Wondering whether she meant what she said

My heart was hurting, breaking and aching
Thinking, planning and preparing
to give it another try for the sake of my heart

Changing tact help save situations sometimes
Less talking, more helping and companion giving
Was what I resorted to, and it produced a prestigious prize

She did not admit it at first
But she could no longer be at peace away from my place
And that formed the beginning of the firm friendship

They say the rest is history
But to us the rest was a test of time
And God guided us in times of trials and temptations

We had to part ways in good course
As she went to pursue promotional studies
For a period they thought our friendship will fade

They told her I will move on
They told me she will move on
But none of us moved on
Instead, we finally tied the knot
All thanks to Almighty God

Maya Angelou

Mind full of wisdom, strength, hope and encouragement
Always gave inspirational talks and speeches
Yielding a transformed generation
And we shall forever treasure her contribution

A poet, actress, author, dancer, and singer
Never gave up on her dreams and ambitions
Getting through with her desire and aspire
Eternity In heaven
Like all others who left a mark on this earth
Oh God grant her
Ultimately for a life well lived

Indispensable Profession

Almighty created exemplary beings in His Own wisdom
Ultimately God abide by every promise in His own script
Umbrella to all books existing here in this orbit
Which underneath subsist all creatures
Except what in His orders missed undefined

Creatures as we exist, we indeed need object not
Unconditional, to advices He exhibits vividly in the old book
Urged we are, to educate fraternity intensively

Theology ought to underscore
Primary activities geared essentially
Towards inspiration for orientation
To understand the Almighty

Currently endangered yet indispensable
The oldest profession undisputed
People applaud this endeavor
Yields inner satisfaction

Our Lord ultimately will ask
Did earnings bring inspiration to our choices?
Urged to acknowledge theology

Putting His Life On the Line

Born in the era of selfishness
he upheld selflessness
Putting his life on the line

They lived their lives for themselves
Not taking their kids to school
Fearing their kids will forsake them, when educated

He lived his life for others sake
Taking his kin to get education stake
Investing all his wealth in faith
Putting his life on the line

The fruits of his work dedicated to us
While they had fun, eating and drinking wine
Now we see him reap, for he shall no longer grief
While they are now seeking relief
That is my dad, my best friend

Tenth

Takes a count, one to nine, to reach there
Exhausts the mind when reaching near
Number counting practise and perfection in the younger peer
The scholar builds confidence in numbers with no fear
Honors then come forth from her dear

Stack In Quagmire

This business is not as simple as yes, no
and I know, we both want to know,
how our fate will go.

For every happy start,
it’s not a must,
to have a bad ending,
and for every happy start
it’s not a must
 to have an ending.

The continuity is well sustained
if we both agree to obtain,
and abstain,
from all other sort of bargains.
A common understanding.

We may need to talk
but am not sure if we can talk
for we are now stack
in this holly Month.

I know I have been acting strange,
you have every right to protest,
but I don’t know what to say,
for admitting a yes or no,
is not in this game.
