The Spirit of Yosemite

One of the best things about living in Yosemite, is the miles and miles of trails. I love to hike. Since I've been in Yosemite I have always hiked by myself. It clears my mind and helps me understand and get in touch with my thoughts, goals, and dreams.

On a hike back in Sept 2010, I took The Loop Trail its about 13.5 miles around the valley floor. It was during this hike, I found myself literally in the middle of 9 Mule Deer grazing along the side of the trail. As I looked around, I found I was the only one on the trail. No one else to share this experience with. As I walked with caution not to disturb there breakfast, I looked back at them, they continued to go about there meal. like I wasn't even there.

As I contnued on my walk, the beauty of Yosemite was all around me. I was inspired. At this moment I felt the Spirit of Yosemite all around me. Then saddness enter my soul, I wish I had that someone special to share it with.

I took a walk today
I felt something within me
it was on this old trail
I found the spirit of yosemite

The falls were fallen
the rivers flowing
trapped in a dream of beauty
I closed my eyes, it was you I was holding

We walked along a vast meadows
as our inner desires began to roam
then kissing your soft lips
at the base of half dome

Sharing a blanket under a tree
then long walks hand and hand
I know the heart was meant for us
the heart of El Capitain

I took a walk today
i felt something strong with in me
It was my love for you
I found in the Spirit of Yosemite.

Daddy Is Running Late

It’s another morning,
Daddy is running late.
Trying to get to his job,
trying to get out of the gate.

On the radio,
A song was playing through.
His 5 year daughter danced,
to Koby Keith’s “Courtesy of the Red, White, and Blue.

As she danced,
Daddy searched for his car keys.,
He came upon a cute little smile,
an innocent face that said ”Daddy dance with me”

He looked at his sweet daughter,
the center of his world.
He picked her up,
and danced with his baby girl.

3 minutes later the song was done,
There was a hug and a kiss.
A big beautiful smile,
and a memory that was not missed.

Another morning,
Daddy is running late.
Don’t be in such a hurry,
to get out of the gate.

For life is too short,
Never take time away from a child ever.
Because to a 5 year little girl.
A 3 minute dance with daddy will last forever.

Bump and Grind

There's no other way to say it,
Passion on my mind.
I want to seduce you, so bad
Baby lets bump and grind.

I can't shake you from my heart,
you got it going on, so so fine.
Lets get the tummies slapping,
baby lets bump and grind.

Thinking of the desire your sweat creates,
tasting every drop, I know your mine.
I beg to have you,
lets bump and grind.

To satisfy your every need,
is a desire of mine.
let me make sweet love to you.,
Oh my sweet thing, lets bump and grind.

To Be Or Not To Be

Shakespear once wrote,
"To be or not to be".
About a trouble soul,
about to decide on destiny.

Its a question only one can answer,
to choose between life or death.
To either choose living with the pain,
or end it with lifes final breath.

Some call it a selfish act,
in this I don't believe.
Loneliness and sadness,
can and will destory dreams.

I live in a sad world,
and even with the pain and loneliness within me.
Even with the confusion,
I still choose "To Be"
