Talena Alienmermaid Poem
Petals fall like snow
Green heads bow in obeisance
To the gusts of March

A wall of water
Descends like a sickle
Swallowing all cries

Talena Alienmermaid Poem
Shielded, his logic affects distrust - chill resolve
Mine scatters like dust, dissolves
His lust for my mind absolves
Allows this love to evolve.

Talena Alienmermaid Poem
The poem is missing somehing!
Oh my goodness - what could it be?
It's got to be here somewhere...
Hey, wait - it's just missing a "t"?
The poem WAS missing something
I"m sure glad it's been found
Now I've got no worries
everything's safe an sound.
But wait - now something's gone again
I'm squinting, but it's lost in plain sight
I'm scratching my head till I realize - no worries
My spell checker will make it all write.

Green eyes forested by lashes
Over teasing lips

Like fat felt pillows
Or a mouse cupped in my hand
your plush skin delights

Talena Alienmermaid Poem
For better or worse
The path is laid
I've tried and I've cried
But the desire doesn't fade
Does losing ones center
Make one whole?
I question I rail
I confess
That I've failed
But the Dragon swallowed the Phoenix
And so ends this tale
I've loved and I've lost
It's my choice
My tale
We pretend to be rudderless
but the truth is
We are the wind and the sail.

Talena Alienmermaid Poem
Sirens call
And tempests toss
The Dutchman asks his due.
Scythed by moonlight
the dark crystal sea beckons
To the romantic, the foolhardy
The adventurous and unwise.
The sea is a wicked lover
Every seven years
You’ll threaten her yoke
Tempted by the land
But Lorelei will not be idle.
Your song she will yet sing
sinewy seaweed snakes
round your limbs
pulling you
Under
Under
Under
As bubbles like drowned pearls
Leave your lips like a kiss

Talena Alienmermaid Poem
Don't hold it against me
that
I
want
to
be
held
by
you.
