Kennedy Elizabeth Poem
Once upon a time
I gave a bum a dime
Dropped it in his tin can
I should have ran
He grinned a grin
Filled with sin
Weapon after weapon
He ran me through
First blunt
Then sharp
Left me in the alley to die
Death - What a single dime can buy

Kennedy Elizabeth Poem
there once was a duck
who had no luck
her parents cruelly named her chuck
she liked to play in the muck
unfortunately the poor thing was hit by a truck
there once was a fish
he lived in a dish
his parents cruelly named him trish
he liked to splash and splish
his death was not his owners wish
the two unfortunate beings met in the sky
and of this tale i do not lie
at first they were quite shy
til trish said, oh my!
you know chuck, we did both die
today they had a baby
it is said that maybe
they will choose to name her ramie
but if you ask me
she's the ugliest baby you ever will see

Kennedy Elizabeth Poem
Watched her grow, watched her go
From crawling to walking
From child to woman
I was her friend
From beginning to end
Ashes to ashes
Dust to dust
And yet I remain
From mother to daughter
From father to son
Pass and pass
Love that will forever last
The more I see and hear
I fill with love and pride
For the family keeping me on this ride
They are mine
And I am theirs
Always there
Never will betray
Best friends are always found
In Teddy Bears

Kennedy Elizabeth Poem
It only takes a moment
One second of your time
To make a change
The invisible children are starting to be heard
With your help they can be saved
Just take a moment to listen
Joseph Kony is a villain
A terrible, terrible man
Take a second to find out why
He kidnaps children
Right from their homes
Puts them into his armies
But thats not all
He forces them to kill
Sometimes forces them to kill
Their own parents
He has no cause, no worldly plan
Just wants to grow his power
And he MUST be stopped!
If enough citizen support is gathered
We can make a difference
We can assist in his arrest
All it takes is a second
Look up the Invisible Children Inc.
Look up Joseph Kony
Look up information and join us
As we fight for these children
Who alone may not be heard
And as we fight for the capture and arrest
Of Joseph Kony
....................................................Joseph Kony 2012 We WILL make a difference!

Kennedy Elizabeth Poem
Within me a beast is caged
Bars that bind, weakened as I aged
Flash of the eyes
IT is on the rise
IT wants to lead
Wants to feed
Stretching out at last
Better run fast
Finally free
Ready for ITS spree
Overpowered and now I'm the one
Thats bound
In ITS raw fury I drowned
Nothing left to hold IT back
From a bloody snack
I am gone
A whisper in the night
IT is all that remains
Claws, hate, and fangs

Kennedy Elizabeth Poem
One day Water said to Earth
“I ruled long before your birth,
I was here first, I hold the key,
Bow down to my seniority”
Earth replied to water with a laugh
“I paved my own path!
You may have been here first, it’s true,
But in the end my might bested you.”
The oceans swelled and roared
And the skies, they violently poured
As Water threatened to once again drown
So then Air jumped in with a frown
“Must you two always bicker?
This fuss will cause Fire to stir,
We all know what a bother he will be,
So please agree to disagree, peacefully!”
But the intervention came much too late
As Fire awoke with a blazing shake
“Who was here first, that’s no victory,
Not when there is a force as great as me!”
Fire began to swell with pride
Until Water doused him in her tide
Earth laughed with a great big rumble
Filling Water with rocky crumble
Water replied with a great big wave
Leaving Earth’s garden naught but a grave
“My flowers! You have drown them all!
With that Earth shook down a great waterfall.
Water cried out, for she was undeniably vain
Without it she felt quite plain
Fire, still upset over the blow to his pride
Joined up and took Earth’s side
The three began to unleash their wrath
Destroying much in their explosive path
Until Air decided that she had had enough
And she blew with one mighty puff
To pieces the Earth fell with a bash
And Water flew back with a crash
Fire shrunk into a tiny light
And Air took advantage from the break in the fight
“Why must you always try to be superior?
When we got along, things were merrier.
We work so much better
When we work together!
Earth, you and Water pave the way
So the creatures of the world can live every day!
And Fire, you are needed just as much
Life would perish without your warm touch.”
Water ran smooth, feeling foolish
Such destruction was never her wish
Earth grew still similarly,
“I am so sorry,” said he.
Even Fire seemed to feel some shame
As he all but extinguished his flame
The elements worked together once more
Another quarrel added to the stories of lore

Kennedy Elizabeth Poem
I scream and yell
A harsh front
To hide the hell
Icy shards
Protect my heart
Only his fire
Could rip apart
But now the flames
Have faded away
Barricade my heart
Once more
Icy shield never again
Will open it's door
He burned out
His fiery blaze
Never again
Will the flames raise

Kennedy Elizabeth Poem
Foreign creature in my head
Won’t leave until I am dead
Tangled deep within
Creating a chaotic din
Blasting color, sparking pain
Melting away my brain
Alien emotions pouring out
Angry words grow roots and sprout
This person is not me
This person making them flee
Leaving me alone with my impending doom
Over my head the knowledge looms
Soon to burst…but when?
And the fear strikes yet again
How could you pass this on to me, why?
Mother, because of you I am going to die
aneurism

Kennedy Elizabeth Poem
My stomach churns - so sick of crying
Eyes wide with fear - at a loss
So many mistakes - now you're dying
So sorry - wish I could be the one you need

Kennedy Elizabeth Poem
Under the covers, I can hear you cry
You’re singing the devil's lullaby
Reach out to grasp the darkness
Try to lift you out of this mess
Grasp the darkness, nothing more
This is becoming a chore
Haunting me day and night
Filling me with fright
Couldn’t save the one that meant the most
Now he’s naught but a ghost
?
