My Own Prison

Day to day I lived,
I thought I knew it all.
Then when I met you,
How could I but not fall.

I lived a life of hope,
To dream was my way out,
Time had passed so fast,
I wondered without a doubt.

Inside I'll always have you,
I'd never let you go,
My outside will be empty,
Too never see that glow.

I live in my own prison,
I built these walls of stone,
Without you by my side,
I'm destined to be alone.

Little Angels

Taken away so young,
So young to say goodbye,
To have just one more night,
Rest easy as they lie,

Their Innocence was youth,
With beauty in their soul,
The light of a brand new day,
Inside it made them whole,

They will never be forgotten,
They touched our hearts in every way,
The heavens called upon,
Little Angels now to pray.

Endless Nightmare

In an empty world,
And a room with no space,
There’s a hidden door,
To a forbidden place,

A place with no voices,
No voices to hear,
A mysterious world,
If you enter to dare,

Where everything’s grey,
And dark colored walls,
With windows of stain,
And endless halls,

It comes through the night,
It’s a place in your dreams,
When you can’t wake up,
From a nightmare of screams.

Inside Evil

I’m fighting myself,
Myself within,
I can’t break free,
It’s pulling me in,

I forged my potion,
Now I’m binned and cursed,
If I turn away,
Would I free the thirst,

The evil within,
Craving possession and sin,
It haunts my ghost,
And fevers my skin,

I feel the horror,
Shadowed deep inside,
My soul is darkened,
From Jekyll to Hyde.

Echos From Heaven

Angels descending,
Bring from above,
Echoes of mercy,
Whispers of love,

Wings of all beauty,
Wonders of sight,
Lost in the moment,
In shadows of white.

Heavens are open,
A message to bring,
Attendants of God,
Continue to sing.

Broken Angel

I practice my craft
as a messenger
but inside my eyes
they fill with tears
if I should be strong
and hide the pain
in the sight of
children crying
and unseen sorrow
with the wars raging
and the death for not
the tyranny of man
and darkness of innocence
my soul cries out
who am I
why was I chosen
I’m just an Angel.

Invincible Dawn

An eye inside the dark,
Awaken with every breath,
Attempting to steal the very soul,
Combative with every motion,
Incredibly common within the night, A conflict on and through, Insignificant worry for what's beyond, And what's conceived before,
Waiting for a visible light, A sign of invincible dawn,
A new beginning, A touch of light, Another's gone no more.

Hollow Dream

Last night I had that dream again,
That uneasy dream,
It was almost a nightmare,
For what it may seem,

I had it many times before,
It's always like the last,
A simple room,
Maybe something from the past,

I look inside,
To this mystical place,
Is there something in here,
Inside this empty space,

It's a room from unknown,
But I have been here before,
Perhaps as a child,
As I open the door,

I have to get in,
And finally be free,
What's in this place?
Is there something for me,

I know something's there,
For what I can't see,
That hollow room,
Whatever can it be.

Altered Passion

We look inside our being,
Deep inside our thoughts,
Another way of life,
Another ghost to chase,
Our mind is filled with notions, Internal variations of time, Dubious from within our self, Hesitant and unsure,
So much depends on yesterday, Today appears as not, To reach beyond our soul in time, Without altering passion with our mind.

I Slept On a Star

I went to sleep last night,
I slept on a star,
With a feeling of wonder,
I traveled so far,

I visited places,
And wandered in time,
With forces of bliss,
I continued to climb,

I witnessed a world,
A world with no sun,
The weather was cold,
But happy and fun,

I raced a comet,
Felt the ice from its core,
I flew passed an asteroid,
As I continued to soar,

I flew over mars,
It was red full of light,
The rocks colored rust,
What a spectacular sight,

Saturn was fun,
It looked like a toy,
With rings in the mist,
Just simply a joy,

I glided towards Jupiter,
My heart lifted so,
With moons all around,
It shadowed with glow,

I headed back down,
I floated in air,
I bounced on a cloud,
In hope and a prayer.
