Pour

I delight when you pour yourself on me...

your love,

your problems,

your body,

your gifts,

your frustrations,

your life.

Now, thoughts of you are vapors that I absorb and drift into.

Reality grabs my chin and turns me around.

Salty tears escape.

New Life

with every breath the jagged edges fit neatly into the same wounds

I try to stop it but the silky pain melts down my center

As the steel drags across my tongue it forms a wake of metallic spurs dancing in my mouth

my lips form his name and I have a moment's reprieve

heat forms like a fireball exploding through my mind

I beg for a quick kiss to quell my misery

My thoughts run as fast as the air from my lungs

I search for that quiet, warm, careful womb

Instead, I am pushed back to the harshness of birth

fighting for survival in this world that overloads my senses

Fade

the sun pulls my limp soul up across the sky shadows of his breath whisper faint longings my head dips down and I fade, fade, fade my life drips to the earth mingled with tears, sweat and memories i am a pool splattered and seeping through the soil we part both unquenched severed scattered waiting

Ripped

full and empty like young petals that haven't matured we must be pulled and ripped to detach each movement sends fresh waves through the tear white light, the purest intention, is released growing now becomes a triage to save yourself gratitude is bitter

River

all my thoughts lead to you like tributaries to a river
Memories rush through my mind growing into a powerful wave
that begins beating against a wall of torment
which flings them carelessly back to the shore of where your silky voice dances on my soul

I'm searching for you but your footsteps disappear with the tide of emotion
the complicated bouquet of your fragrance lingers on my sheets and scrapes the smoothness of my lungs
The ghostly traces of you on my skin evaporate into silent burns
My chest tightens around my breath as my heart forces its beat violently outward

Waking

his fragrance melts my frozen heart
I am gently pulled under
I rush to meet the power of the tidal wave

My mind dives into the familiar arms
my other senses are absent from the mirage

waking I reach for the empty side
the fire of longing licks at my essence
there is no relief

every swallow is dry and painful

each beat signals my ache

For Now

You enter.
Everything is soft and comfortable...fulfilling a space I didn't know I had.
When I'm with you time doesn't matter. You are my before, my now and my after.

Nothing else can tear my attention from you. You fill my every cell with sweetness. I can't escape.
I don't want to leave you yet how can this last?

I selfishly don't care if you are feeling this way. I hope so, but I don't care because you are mine..for now.

Strung Out On You

my personal anesthetic
I hurt when you are away
I am flying when I am near you
It isn't fair to give you that power
yet I willing offer it once you look into my eyes
you never asked for it
yet you don't relinquish it
you gently manipulate my heart to your whim
you dream it and I do it
I let you control my desire and end it
I am helpless

I am free.

Expand

everything grows with you...
love
courage
happiness
my belly
your family
my patience
my strength
I know I have you on a pedestal, but you look so good

there

here

...you always have my love

Sliced

As I slip into your velvety sweetness...

I feel my life feathering into yours

...we are one in an instant

We can not be separated any more

You will pour out if I'm emptied

I will remain inside you

our essence has mingled

your razored love slides down my weakness
