Hooray For October

Hooray For October

Pumpkin patches, Halloween,
Crunchy leaves of brown
Cool mornings, bond fires,
and the best haunted houses in town
Hooray for October

Fall festivals, cool nights,
pep rally's and football,
Breaks from school, ghost stories,
branch filled trees, and the beginning of fall
Hooray for October

Walks in the park, apple cider, the smell of pumpkin pie
Cuddling up next to a fireplace, trick or treating,
and the twinkle in a child's eye
Hooray for October

The Perfect Man

He's the most perfect man, his love for me is so strong.
He is devoted to me, even when I am wrong.
When I walk, I will never travel alone
When I need shelter, he will give me his home
When I am down on myself, he will give me confidence and pride
When I am having problems, he is still by my side.
He makes me promises, that he will not break.
He always forgives me,for his name sake.
He stays true to his word, he never lets me down,
I want the world to know about the love i have found.
Many years to come, he will still feel the same.
He is the most perfect man, and Jesus is his name

Spring Is In the Air

Flowers bloom on a sunny day
Birds sing, while children play
Employees leave their jobs early without a care
And this is how you know spring is in the air

People jogging through the park
More time to enjoy brighter days before it gets dark
Cars drive by with music a blare
And this is how you know spring is in the air

Jack Frost with his evil ways
Adds a chill to our sunshine days
Frost on our windows
Ice on our blooms
The children's faces all with gloom
Another cold day just isn't fair
But who cares, it is still March,
And Spring is in the air

Words For My Children

You can lead a horse to water
but you can not make him drink
You can give children an education
but you still can't make them think
You can address a nation
but still can't change their ways
You can preach your religion
but a Christian man still prays
You can humiliate a person
but a strong man will keep his pride
You can give up on new experiences
but you would have never known unless you tried
You can let things hold you back,
but be strong and face your fear
Never see crying as a weakness
because on the cross even Jesus shed a tear
And when you are challenged, give it all you got
because you are always a winner,
rather you are first place or not
Always show love, please keep your heart
Don't leave any words unspoken
finish what you start
Don't let this world bring you to your knees
Stand tall, be proud
and reach for the trees
Some may laugh at you or bash your name
Walk away with your head held high
show no shame
Stand for what you believe in
Even if you stand alone
Because since the beginning of time,
theres only been one king on a thrown
My child I hope you carry the words that I say
One day I will be gone, but my love and guidance will
shine a light to lead you the way.

Horror At the Fair

I was looking up at the ferris wheel
at the fair one hot day in June.
When I heard a screechy noise,
like a violin out of tune.
I saw a seat,high in the air,
start to break loose.
Then I felt a thump on my head
 from a rusty old screw.
Standing at the fair,
with a blurry glare ,
watching a body swaying in the air.
They hung on tight,
As i watched with fright,
waiting for a rescue team to arrive there.
They were saved before they took a fall
While i stood staring in awe.
So to all you thrill seekers
please be aware
of the sight that i saw
while at the fair.

The Day My Life Changed

The day my life went hollow
I had to live in isolation,
and that's a tough pill to swallow,
when you don't want to be the cause of depopulation.

The day my life drew a blank
the streets were all empty ,
there wasn't a car to be found.
Soldiers were on every corner,
my city looked like a battleground.

The day my life went to war,
citizens were fighting for their lives.
Everyone was sick, the elderly were dying,
The young and healthy are the only ones who survived.

The day my life went dark,
loss of freedom left us all blind.
Separation has become the new adaptation for all mankind.

The day my life went hollow
or empty I guess you could say,
I sat in a empty room,
filled with worry and gloom,
everyone I loved were doing the same,
and it's hard to have human connection when your six feet away.

What If

Cova 19 may be the beginning of world Peace. All nuclear warfare will seaze so our world leaders can come together to stop this deadly disease.
What if this pandemic was just a reality check.
Not to cause havic or make our. Lives a wreck.
But to show us how good we had it and how it could be.
If they take away our grandparents, and our little things in life and they take away our free.
What if they just wanted us to see,
All we did was complain , and want better , we were never happy.
We're stuck in quarantine and we think life really stinks,
All we can do is sit around and think.
But is it so bad to have to spend time with the ones you love,
The ones that before this the back burner you shove
Now you have to worry about your grandparents who were always alone,
All they wanted was you to pick up the phone,
Is it so bad now that you got to stay home?
What if this was just to make us a world United, all nation's no different than the other
Instead of killing we have to help our sisters and brothers.
What if this was to open our eyes
To hear the sound of a homeless man cries.
What if this was to take away our humble
And show us what's it like to when our world starts to crumble.
What if this was a way for us to feel the homeless hunger pain
To show us how it feels to wait in the rain
In a long line just for a meal,
What if it's to show us how the unfortunate feel.
It took a virus to show us that were all the same,
The rich are no different than the homeless whome we have put to shame.
What if you had to beg some one for toilet paper and a loaf of bread
What if you were different than one holding the sign begging to be fed.
What if cova 19 put us all on a new path
Love and harmony is the aftermath.
What if cova made you ask for help from the one that we forget about, you know that one person we denied or had our doubt
What if we had to turn to that one person that we. All we all threw away.
What if Corona was just to give you another chance to believe in God and to bring you to your knees to. pray.
Corona created the path and our faith in God will show us the way.

What We Say

If a picture is worth a thousand words
Then a quote should be worth a million.
If what you say could change the day
then your speech is worth a trillion.

If You Were To Die Tommorrow

If you were to die tomorrow,
then I would want to die today
If I could not hear your voice,
then there are no more words for me to say
If I could no longer look into your eyes,
then I will close mine to,
for I will not want to see anything,
because there is nothing more beautiful than you
If I could no longer feel the touch of your hand,
then bury my body next to yours in the land
If my nights had to be lonely without your embrace,
then I shall pass to, so I can forever see your face
If you were to die today,
then that means I am already gone
for I will give up all my days, so I don't have to miss you for one.
